The point is that Microsoft still can bring different approaches that turn the tides on their favor, as Sony did in the past. A bunch of high quality exclusives, for instance, which is what Sony used (plus PS+) to overcome the odds.

Again: only by having both side by side we can REALLY see if the animations are equal. Almost equal = story is over.

"Lower pings". Not at all. It only lower the pings if the player is "near" to a dedicated server. Otherwise, there is no chance of playing a lag-free game.
Saying a system is perfect is the last proof of stupidity.
