"Answer these question for please...
If a game has a set price its automatically high quality and not half baked? (Aliens Colonial Marines)
How are you negatively effected by having the opportunity to try a game for free?
Have you played every single F2P on PS4 to be able to claim they all suck?"
1. No. Most of them suck, but you have the chance to pay and play a masterpiece. A complete one.
2. Ever...
You do realize it was built around MT, don't you?
Seriously, do you think designers just throw a feature in a game without making it coherent with all the rest?
And now because Eurogamer said MT 'were forgotten in design' and didn't affect anything else you'll blindly believe them and throw all logic out of the window?
Are people really calling Resogun free to play only because it is at Plus?
Have we reached a new bottom here?
Unbelievable.
A full and good game for a specific price, not half baked games with a piece of the content unless you pay infinite money.
It sucks that studios are so focused on releasing sucking games on the F2P model instead of good ones in the 'already old' format.
Or what? Will you say any of these F2P games released to PS4 are good?
They suck. All of them.
With Capcom in line then? Haha Good luck with your faith.
Capcom marketing.
And you still believe it?
smh...
-frosty
Perfect.
People want to close their eyes with strength to the fact that F2P game progression stinks.
I'd gladly pay 60 bucks for a full, good game too.
Now, what you can buy with 60 dollars is a small piece of the game.
A shooter, obviously. Another shooter...
What's the reward for the first place again?
Oh, right, they forgot to do this.
I know you'll disagree but GTA V has the most piontles AAA open world in the gen.
It's the evolution of that. In a few years, you'll miss when complete games were the price Capcom used to put on it.
Well, I'll make my part and downvote this crap wherever I can. '3/10, buggy, broke my system, decent graphics but crap performance and controls do not respond', N4G articles, stuff like that. Haha
If they want to play dirty, they'll have it. Watch out, we have a badouch over here.
In all honesty? I hope...
Nope.
The problem is that with MT it takes LONGER than it will take if there were no MT into the game design. They wouldnt ruin the game design and progression for nothing. But for money...
And LONGER usually means an eternity.
Welcome to the future of gaming. You thought prerelease DLC on disk was bad, right?
Oh, but that was Capcom, not Sony, so it WAS bad. Nevermind.
Yeah, it is not like developers are ruining their games' designs over and over again to force players into microtransactions.
They have two options. A balanced experience with steady progress, or walls of progress and rivers of money.
I wasn't going to buy it anyway. Now I'm not buying it even more!
When you hit the progression walls put there to force players into MT, remember this post of yours and how 'it doesn't affect you'.
It is a major design and business choice. It affects the whole game.
Are you nuts?
Even retail titles are destroyed by MT now. Why do you think a F2P game won't be ruined by it?
Every major game design from now on will focus on it: progression walls and extortion.
Free to *pay, because playing is disgusting.
Then the devs have to shutdown and they ask: Why didn't anyone play our clon--- game?
FFS, the industry doesn't need another game in the least creative subgenre, specially a probably cheap, underdeveloped one. I hope they lose A LOT of money and serve as a lesson for the rest of the companies.
Devs have confirmed that putting MP was a publisher demand and have even criticized the mode, so I don't think you missed much.
Probably they agree.
Specially with his newly announced DRM plan not allowing second hand sales. If this was a MS exclusive, there would be a storm, but he has his image lined up with Sony, 'so it's probably a good thing, good for developers, screw the basement entitled blablabla'.
PS: Just to clarify, it seems the standard version will come only digitally to next gen.
PPS: Not to mention charging 30 USD for a demo.
No, he didn't and also won't until the big reveal. IF it ever happens.
