1. In any game they'd fix it. In a MT game, you can bet this is high on their priorities.
2. This doesn't mute the discussion simply because now what you were supposed to pay to get, you are supposed to cheat for the same reason.
The design of MT games is effed up with or without cheats.
It is like playing a game with overpowered enemies (oh, you can buy a boost for you armor) and suddenly a cheat for god mode appearing. Does it fix...
The progression in games is a big part of the experience and reason to achieve great scores / overcome challenges.

That's also why in the top5 PS4 streamers always exist at least one with a girl on the background doing nothing at all. But it's enough to put the stream at the top while some clown dances or answers random question in the not-static part of the screen.

The game ran 100% flawlessly to me and I don't need graphics ANY better than TLOU's, so I don't see anything that a much more powerful machine could do to improve the already great experience had on PS3.
