well, seeing as super mario galaxy, was one of the highest rated games last year, and was one of my favorite games too. seriously stop being such fanboys and just play the games, if the games good, it's good, miyamoto makes damn good games and is recognized as a pioneer of the industry, I welcome a new traditional mario game, whether that would be on the ds or wii (or wiiware?) I don't care, as long as I actually have something to look forward to on my Nintendo platforms, seeing as there's on...
not the biggest fan of webcomics, penny arcade is pretty good though, and it's fallout, the only web comic I've actually loved was concerned: the life and death of gordon frohman, funniest things I've ever read in my life, period.
check out my avi, Bioshock sucks, and I don't care for it, biggest disappointment for me in recent memory, anyway console exclusivity is stupid IMO, the only reasons theres exclusives is not for the people who own the system but to get new people to buy it to play that one game, the only time exclusives are okay is in this example, where they don't think they could achieve the same level of quality as they could with the 360/PC version on the PS3, it's not that the PS3 couldn't take it its ju...
have fun playing you're watered down piece of garbage, Bioshock put the final nail in the coffin for my favorite era of gaming, System Shock 1 and 2 were amazing, but Bioshock just sucked because they took all the depth out of it and made it a straight forward shooter. why because it's on consoles, for some reason they thought they needed to dumb the game down just so it was more accessible. Anyway I don't care about exclusives anyway as an owner of all consoles and a gaming PC I can' play al...
as long as EA doesn't take over take 2 then EA will have gone up in my books, I guess you can't be evil and make terrible games forever though, doing better than Ubisoft though, (unless they make BGAE 2 amazing) yay for the downfall of games being made for gamers, long live the big heartless corporations!
whoever played the pc version of mass effect has really found the best, as for the witcher, blah, boring and repetitive, while I loved it when I first started playing, all the dialogue was boring and uncaptivating unlike mass effect, and the combat system was retardadly easy, there are some cool moments in the game no doubt, but still mass effect is a better game IMO, the witcher is more generic medievel/ancient crap with "magic" ooo, I'm sorry but mass effect is a sci-fi rpg and we...
Yeah and? I never though Mass Effect would be on PS3 anyway, a game with that much content would be relatively hard to port to the PS3 unless Bioware gave it a whole team and they're busy enough as it is now.
well, I'm pretty sure this is real, people will just call fake on this because one guys noticed some bright colouring around the dead rising logo oooh, wow, conspiracy, so the guy making this created his own background new HD sonic model with big ass sword, and if people wonder why there is only the cover, that's prob because the guy either works at NP or has a friend that works there, so he probably couldn't stand there taking pictures of every page without getting a few looks.
mirrors edge is not a shooter, remember that, so it doesn't fall under the FPS category, people always think that, as soon as a game is in first person it's instantly a shooter,(works most of the time) but I don't see why everybody so excited about the expansion pack to Gears, all it adds is new levels, a few new weapons, new story, and lots of tweaks to the gameplay like faster turning, smoother movements, you know that it should be an expansion pack to the first gears because all it is is g...
see this year I'm excited about being excited for certain games, like instead of the usual, oh new GTA, oh new Gears, I'm saying hey look Mirror's Edge and LBP and Alan Wake (don't laugh one day I will get my old PC exclusive back, hopefully they haven't turned it into a geow style shooter) I'm excited because I'm excited about new IPs and thats a good thing, I personally think Mirrors Edge is better than LBP because I'm more of a fan of first person games, or western RPGs (and sometimes if I...
I've noticed EA isn't as bad they were in past years, they must have done some major changes to their business plan, like maybe actually putting the game ahead of the profit? thats always a good one, keep it up EA and maybe you can make a worthy sequel to System Shock 2 while you're at it, just don't go down the take 2 road and create the half-retarded, failed abortion that was bioshock, in fact, EA take Take 2 get the team that worked on bioshock (as thats the original devs) and whip them un...
the source engine take huge advantages from things like direct x, and other standard features built into the xbox and pc as they are built similarly, while the ps3 can be technically more powerful than the 360, the devs really need to know their stuff and how to translate everything, if you guys want to completely rewrite the source engine and port it to the PS3 than be my guest. Anyway, valve isn't making this, duh, running with scissors is, they're just licensing their engine, and valve doe...
I really hope the runners vision is optional, I want to figure out how to go from place to place, without someone telling me exactly what to do, besides that, this game is looking great, but I don't know how they're going to keep me interested when I'm playing this game, they're shooting for a good story, hopefully they pull it off, or otherwise, running across buildings and away from people could get repetitive very quickly, hooray for colour!
while I love duke, when I dled the hrp, it wasn't as good, it makes everything sharper, but the models and enviroments are too brightly coloured and the animation quality is not the best, I appreciate their efforts and all while I had it at first I thought is was teh awesome, but after a while found myself turning it off.
lots of disagrees already? no counter-arguements? c'mon guys, bring it, I will defend to the death Miyamoto will never completely sell the hardcore franchises out to the casuals.
"hardcore" crowd will be upset, the wii's current "core" audience is casuals, and that's why they're thinking of redesigning their classic "hardcore" franchises to make them more accessible to their "core" market, also, I think people will overreact to this, he's not gonna rip everything we know and love about zelda and add miis, minigames, and exercises that make your gray matter smarter.
no, miyamoto is talking about incorporating things that make a game more accessible to people and imbedding them within the game, not making zelda a minigame fest with miis, christ, you guys honestly think Nintendo would screw over their loyal fans like that, sure they haven't been doing good with their hardcore audience lately but SMG, TP, SSBB, MP3 all of them very faithful sequels to the ones before them, I doubt there will be huge changes made. (mepsipax also hopes for a sequel to windwak...
rare was at it's peak in the 64 days, and I think Nintendo was the reason those games had such charm, all the references, the n64's, the controllers, everything all added together to create a very pleasant experience, Microsoft, just doesn't seem to create the same aura with their rare published games, well anyway, going to be a great game, but it will make me wish Banjo was still with Ninty for some reason.
Pikmin 3, good job ninty, you almost let me down this year, but now with voice chat, AC mmo, pikmin and a spiritual succesor to wave race 64, good job.
pikmin didn't fail, it did very well even though the gamecube wasn't that hot in sales, Nintendo has made new IPs for this generation but they haven't made any new harcore IPs, while we have no idea about project H.A.M.M.E.R and disaster: dod, look at the gamecube for new IPs, you had Luigi's Mansion, (very underated game) pikmin, animal crossing, eck, geist(that game could have been so much), and you also have the revolutionairy metroid prime, even though thats not a true new IP it was amazi...
