wow jet force gemini was epically challenging, it was flippin huge! first of all, you had the standard each character has their own level, then after the palace you had each character can go to any level they want, thus opening the door to more secrets (and in jet force a secret isn't just a room with a bunch of items in it) and then after you thought you won they drop the giant bombshell on you that you have to rescue every single tribal. god damn that was hard, seriously one of the most und...
the stupid thing that eurogamer doesn't touch on is the time trials, they're really really fun, something about this game is very replayable, the better you are at the level the more fun it actually is because the game is such a rush. As someone who has the time trial unlocked in the demo I see this being more interesting for me than the the main mode. The game just feels good, I have the demo on xbox and ps3 and can't really notice a difference and dice really nailed it on the simple yet int...
just wow, I can't wait 11 days. I don't want to kill this game with hype but it looks like exactly what I need, a non linear shooter in africa with gorgeous graphics, morel dilemmas, and really pretty fire and explosion effects. Plus it won't be mindless like COD, Halo, Resistance or Killzone, which are all great shooters really don't offer any depth except for the multiplayer.
Doesn't sound too bad, but still. I don't think I even miss the view, I think I miss the great 2d environments, they were so detailed and awesome. And also Bethesda is terrible, just terrible at animating characters, look at all the animations, the melee weapon animations on the enemies are taken straight from oblivion, and hopefully Bethesda fixed the problem with the non consistent dialogue, like people switching voice actors, or the tone of the character changing with each line of dialogue...
the 360 is a pirated console? to be able to play pirated games on the 360 you need to modify the hardware, and that is the difference between casual piracy and hardcore piracy, hell the 360 is the tightest of them all (except when it comes to gamertage theft) the wii is open, the ps3 is slowly opening. Besides I think this would be from the pc version, because in case you fanboys didn't know there is this thing called a computer and it is full of casual piracy. So how are they going to lose l...
while the ps3 can handle all these things at once, it is divided amongst the cells losing processing power on each cell, much like a dual core or quad core cpu, the 360 is known for it's graphics programming but can have trouble running things like lots of physics and events, it's hard to say who is the winner, we'll have to wait for next gen to see, I think the ps3 is very powerful and more powerful than the 360, but currently I'm having a way better experience with the 360. oh and if Deus E...
the human eye can't even see at 120fps so unless you are a robot or alien than 120fps doesn't matter besides, everyone can tell far cry 2 is meant for the pc and 360, they hype the 360 version and show off the prettiness of the pc version, but where's the ps3? I'm guessing they couldn't figure out the cell things, well I'll get it for PC anyway, unless the mapmaker is console exclusive which in that case I'll get it for 360,
as long as this isn't an action focused deus ex like ie than I'll be happy, Deus Ex was amazing, but one thing about the concept art and screens, it's too bright, and when I mean bright I don't mean like diablo III bright I mean like mirror's edge bright, what the hell, deus ex was like always dark, it gave it a great atmosphere, oh well, as long as like 50% of the game is dark than I'll be happy.
oh and MK, he as just clarifying that because from the preview it only talked about the c...
well, guys, I guess we should just drop the current combat system and introduce the original games system seeing as it was so fun and intuitive, but seriously guys, I don't care about the combat, I care about the story, the atmosphere, the decisions, problem solving and getting sweet augs. But yeah, regeneritive health is not cool, unless, it slowly regenerates and you can still use medkits, but in the first game there was an aug that regenerated your health anyway, but guys, c'mon the way th...
why is everyone here comparing this game to resistance 2, killzone 2, gears of war 2, all of which being extremely linear and G-E-N-E-R-I-C, alternate version of world war II where aliens invade, sounds cool, but when you look back at it, it was executed badly, some generic, shooter with guys in helmets with goggles and respirators with glowing eyes fighting, generic, some over the top cheesy, corning, homoerotic, oversized males slapping each others assess and killing aliens, um generic, plu...
after this fall, I think I'll barely have money leftover for food. mmm, food.
and? multiplayer was not a hugely hyped portion of this game, in fact it's just there because every fps except the bastard son of system shock, bioshock has a multiplayer, and if multiplayer is the dealbreaker for you than you should probably go back to halo. The single player is all that matters in far cry 2.
uhh no here we go, personally I think the pc is the best place to play a game providing you have enough cash for it to play most games but I love consoles for everything, their interface, their online, take the 360 for example, you can see all what all you're friends are doing when you sign on, easily manage your hardrive (no digging through endless folders looking for an uninstall exe) it's an experience streamlined for games and yes, you can't upgrade them, so yes they hold back limits on g...
well, when the dashboard update goes live sometime this fall we'll see how much space gta IV is, if it's pushing the extent of the dvd threshold then you will see, but as for the higher resolution thing, yes a higher resolution does mean more space is required, just that the ps3 maximum resolution was lower doesn't mean gtaIV on the ps3 is smaller if anything it would be larger as blu-rays stores things strangely, anyway the reason gtaIV on the ps3 had lower resolution was that rockstar didn'...
oh dear, what's this, both consoles will be able to experience this game? well sir, that just plains sucks, to think that a company would want more money and to have more people experience there game is just ridiculous, no but seriously, this is supposedly a very expensive game so unless sony wants to shell out some major cash to cover the difference and then some than rockstar would rather go multiplatform, and to the rest of you stop being such fanboys, to say this whole game won't fit on a...
pretty animations, definitly a pick up for my soon-too-not-be-neglected wii. Yay the wii software horizon isn't looking so dead nowadays.
yes because a bad multiplayer component ruins a game, god, I hate todays multiplayer focused games, while I still love to play headquarters with my friends in COD I love the singleplayer more than the mutli (as long as it's good) whatever, from what I've seen of highway to hell it's just an action/unrealistic/hokey wwII game, while the first two were hokey there was lot's of strategy in the combat unlike games like MOH and COD. I hate how simplified shooters are today, take COD, BF:BC for ex...
and to the guy saying "what about bomb instructions and hate groups" you should have read sillilek post better, he said as long as they don't break the laws then it's fine.
amd I said I apologize if this game really didn't interest you, I enjoy slower paced games myself, but yeah, and to people saying it will be the best rpg ever, you're probably wrong cough* fallout 2 cough* peter molyneux is a lying douchebage, you will never know what to expect until the game comes out, he lies and overhypes games to death. so don't listen to any article that quotes him. he's already ruined that for black and white 1 and 2 and dissapointed me with fable (while still a solid g...
don't count on rare making a good shooter again, everyone important that worked on goldeneye/pd is working at free radical now, but I mean timesplitters is still great, it feels and plays like goldeneye and pd and free radical actually know how to make a game 60fps unlike rare, seriously which rare game has not had framerate problems since the n64, it's great they push a console to it's limits but it loses something when the framerate constantly dips. Damn you microsoft, why didn't you make a...
