Yeah its promising but apparently Final Fantasy games sell 60 percent of there life time sales on the first few days in Japan. I could hit 2 million which for Japan alone would be amazing but I find it unlikely.
Not even sure Halo 3 had this attract rate though, 33 percent is stunning sadly that percentage won't hold up outside of Japan. I am still hopeful that this will outsell that demon MW2.
But to be honest that's never gonna happen even if it does outsell FF7.

Fact is your talking on technicalities think activison care that the PS3 version only sold 2 million in the US because the installer base is half as big? Nope they couldn't give a stuff when it comes down to business sense the 360 sold twice as many Modern warfare 2 games as the PS3.

Your also forgetting the UK you know the 3rd biggest gaming market in the world... Where the 360 completely storms the PS3 most likely more so then it does in America.
I know alot of tech heads and have alot of mates that enjoy gaming. I can name 3 friends that own a ps3. And at least 15 friends/people I know that own a 360.

Bungie is clearly taking the piss, He knows Reach will outsell GT5 and GOW3 combined. I know GT series is a big seller but honestly with the current PS3 installer base I just don't see it. Even though GT has sold ton's of games on past gen systems I just don't see it having the attract rate of halo.
And GOW3 doesn't even count if am honest it didn't sell at all on the PS2 if you consider how many PS2's where around at the time. It's attract rate was terrible I don't even see it ...
It doesn't matter how many copy's are sold to customers Square-Enix like every other game company only counts the number of unit's shipped to retailers, thus Final Fantasy 13 has sold 1.8 million copy's in Japan on launch day which is bloody insane.
This game should clear the 2 million mark in Japan without any problems to be honest.
Personally I hope it does Modern Warfare 2 figures even though in my heart of heart's I know that ain't possible.
