Absolutely agreed. I always loved Super Mario World over Super Mario Bros 3 and all the others. I spent more hours of my childhood on SMW than any other game. Granted Mario 64 captured my fascination as it introduced 3D gaming to me. I loved the difficulty challenge of Super Mario Sunshine. And the variety and creativity in the Galaxy games was very refreshing. But nothing beats Super Mario World.
Ask me what? If you've read the article then you will know that I wrote it. So, yes, I did submit it and I am trying to get it noticed. What's your point?
I just want to see one exclusive game running on the Wii U already.
Also, it sounds like the 360 will be trying to compete with Nintendo. It seems Sony is less worried about Nintendo, and Microsoft feels they can coexist with Sony. But they don't think they can coexist with Sony and Nintendo. Something has to give. So, they want to beat Sony getting out of the gate and hope it will be Nintendo and Microsoft with Sony out of the picture for being too late.
...
Yeah, at first I thought it was a Wii nunchuck, to be honest.
I wonder if there will be even further tweaks in the final version revealed at E3.
Yes, I also played Peggle Nights. I was seriously addicted to Peggle. It was almost like crack. When I was having a bad day, it was like a pick-me-up. Other nights I would play it for like 4-5 hours at a time. And this was for months at a time. So, yeah, I don't think I ever played a game as much as I played Peggle and I consider myself a pretty intensely hardcore gamer.
This is an awesome review! Really spectacular job at dissecting it and making for a really good read.
Thank you. Finally, a voice of reason.
I wish I could draw half as good as those guys.
Even though Pandora's Tower is the last game on the agenda, I would also love to have Fatal Frame 4 released stateside as well, especially because it was the best selling Fatal Frame game, selling better than the PS2 games. And it's an even bigger tease now that they are also remaking Fatal Frame 2 for the Wii.
I loved Myst AND I loved Braid. So this combines the genre of Myst with the creator of the Braid. One of the most interesting games on the horizon. Can't wait to play it!
Well, there's no question about whether XSeed and Gamestop heard the fans. They did. The question more revolves around Nintendo.
I wonder if this was Gamestop's idea or Nintendo's idea.
Whoever's idea it was, it's a really bad one.
And to stop spammers, we have a security question that only a Nintendo fan would know the answer to.
I never played it before so it's brand new for me. Plus, I'm desperate for an RPG on the 3DS. The DS was like the home of the RPG in the last gen, so I'm getting itchy to play some awesome RPGs in 3D. So, this will be the first RPG I buy.
Well, Miyamoto is obviously in charge of all the EAD teams. So that's seven major teams right there. And they cover everything Mario, Zelda, and Wii...(Sports/Fit/Play/Music).
But, Miyamoto isn't watching over the five SPD teams, which deal with Metroid, Wario franchises, puzzle games, and Touch Generation Software. Nor does he deal with Retro, Monolith, Hal, or Intelligent Systems. So franchises such as Super Smash Bros., Fire Emblem, Kirby, Advance Wars, and Metroid...
The time mechanic in Majora's Mask ruined the game for me. I love the dark setting, the pervading atmosphere, and the oddball characters. But, I hated the annoying time mechanic.
I agree that I can't think of any game that makes as much use of time mechanics as Braid. And I love the plot twist ending in Braid!
It was personally confirmed for me. My source also told me that these were only multiplatform games but Ubisoft has other exclusives to announce at a later date, so this isn't the last we've heard from Ubisoft about the Wii U.
It seems Super Mario Sunshine is a unique taste because it certainly doesn't get enough love.
