it's really not that hard to get a character to 80 in one day. The main thing is actually having someone rush you so that you can hit all the good run areas effectively. Gear isn't much of a problem either as you can easily get hr's by trading keys/organs and the bosses that drop the keys do drop decent items too. In one week you could easily have a beast of a charc.
It'd be nice if it is increased, but doesn't matter really either way. People will still utilize mule characters. You can only carry so much gear.
That's why I love bliz. They keep supporting the game and are adding things that players have been requesting to keep ppl coming back. Not to mention they still reset the ladders too. This game has been my addiction for several years starting with a pathetic summoner/corpse explosion Necro. Might have to go do some runs with my hammerdin or windy druid and reorganize my mules.
This hardly makes Sony evil. Like Da Truth said when MS would do this they try and make it appear as if the game is exclusive not just timed exclusive. Hence why I own the 360 version of Tales of Vesperia and NG2.
It makes sense for Sony to want to push the game some to coincide with the release of GB on blu. I'm doubting this will become an ongoing trend, but don't quote me on that.
No matter what it really won't matter unless the game turns out to be good.
I don't play PSOne games on my PS3, but I like to play them on my PSP :D. It's great having some awesome classics on my PSP when I'm traveling. Here's hoping they continue this with other great classics. Japan gets a crapload of PSOne titles it's about time they show NA some love
Quit worry about who got the better free improvements and go play some games already.
I sure hope MS has something up their sleeves for exclusive games besides another Halo title

Until today I was just going to pick it up in stores. Then I got an email from PSN that gets me $5 off of Amazon's preorder price of $56.99 and KZ2 costumes for HOME. Costumes are okay, but $10 off retail price isn't too shabby
You have to hand it to Nintendo for reaching an untapped audience and drawing some ppl back into gaming, but the real test will be next gen.
I love my Wii for a couple titles (some causal and some hardcore), but how many of the millions of ppl out there are really going to move on and buy the next Nintendo console? I believe that some will, but I'm doubting ppl like my fiancee's parents and many others will. They're the type of ppl that only own one game................Wii sports...
Microsoft does have a couple options, but none of the them are really viable. DD isn't an option because you instantly will lose sales from anyone without high speed internet, not to mention isp bandwidth caps aren't going to disappear.
HD-DVD isn't really much of an option either because you'll cut out the ability to watch blu-ray movies on it. Creating a new format would make MS have to spend more money. This option doesn't stand to gain anything. There's basically zero chance...
The artwork looks great. I'm so excited for D3 if this game is as fun as D2 I'll be hooked for sure.

I was looking at getting this, but not so sure if there is only 4 scenarios. I would imagine the co-op is fun, but for how long? Curious as to how things change to make it not seem repetitive. Think I'll wait a bit.

I'm curious to see how the game pans out. I absolutely loved D2 and still play on Bnet. The comment regarding gear and runewords has me a little worried though. If finding gear isn't as important anymore something is going to have to keep gamers coming back for more. Once getting characters to hit the mid 90's with D2 leveling was just a chore. To me if the game is an MMO then that's fine if they charge a monthly fee for it. Personally if they are talking about MAG I'm not that interested to begin with. Add in a monthly subscription fee for MAG and I'm sure as hell not interested.
They always inflate their retail price. They then say they have such a huge sale. Some items actually are cheaper, but some are only slightly lower. Their blu-ray prices are almost always cheaper than Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.. Iron man on Blu @ Best Buy $35 Iron Man on Amazon $26 (free shipping). I've been ordering all my blu ray movies from amazon for a while now. Now there just needs to be some new worthwhile movies to buy.
People just buy a PS3 if you want MGS4 so bad. If these rumors turned out the next MGS chapter was PS3 I'd laugh so hard at the fanboys.
