I think there is a vendetta against the game. On one hand xbox fanboys want the game to fail hard (read some of the comments and 0 scores on meta) and then on the other hand you have reviewers that only enjoy arcade style racers reviewing it like it should be an arcade style racer. It's a racing SIM and yes it isn't perfect, but all the content put together along with PD's attention to detail make it a great game. If people love Forza 3 so much keep playing Forza 3.
Alan Wake was failure to me and not just because of lackluster sales. It was over hyped. The gameplay while interesting at first offers no variety. There's always tons of ammo and tons of batteries. There's no purpose in saving ammo because you're just going to lose all your weps every chapter. You can't really play it as a survival horror because Alan is gasping for air after 5 seconds of running. So it's just trotting through the woods shooting up whatever you come acros...
They're just saying they have no plans for another xbox because they don't want to alienate potential buyers and current owners. Anyone remember how they dropped the original xbox?? They don't want people to even think a new console is on the horizon. Regardless of name, MS will put out a new console for next gen.

MS is a greed driven company that lacks imagination. Instead of being innovative they just copy another companies good ideas (Zune/Ipod, Bing/Google, Internet Explorer/Mozilla, Windows Live/Facebook, Kinect/Wii and Eyetoy, could even be more). They're too busy trying to have a foothold in everything instead of trying to be innovative and be a leader.
Seems like being owned by MS's gaming division means a good chance of losing your job down the road (Ensemble, ACES, Massive, FASA studios, Carbonated Games, Indie Built, Hired Gun, Digital Anvil)

imo nintendo has the best line up with Epic Mickey, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong, and Wii Party. Metroid other M just came out the end of August too. Nintendo is just catering to their audience which is a mix of casuals and the nintendo hardcore. Sony has GT5, multiplats, and move titles. MS has Fable III, multiplats, and kinnect titles.
please tell me this is a joke list, a XBL title and 2 Kinnect titles??? Gears 3 is the only title I'm really looking forward too and Kingdoms is a wait and see.
I've been keeping all my games and I don't see any problem with it. There's games that I prolly will never pick up again, but what would I do with them? No one's gonna pay for them and I paid good money for them. I like having a big collection. It's funny when friends come over and I ask them to pick something out to play and they look all overwhelmed when they look at my collection
I have BC and I still like the HD collections. I like the trophy support and the upgrade in graphics. I can't wait to see ICO collection in HD
Sony's model is much more beneficial to me as a gamer. What would I rather have? A bunch of high quality exclusive games or see a whole lot of ads trying to push a couple exclusive titles? Hmm such a tough decision /s

same here... used game shops are good for finding hard to find classic titles though. So I guess I'd through in the collector as someone you'd meet at a used game store.
They obviously don't know how to develop on the PS3 if they think what they did is optimized for the PS3. Wasn't really interested in Mafia II before, now not interested the slightest

I don't buy used games unless they're near impossible to find new. So I guess I don't care too much. My only question is are these codes going to be tied to people's XBL or PSN account? Cause that would suck to have your 360 or PS3 die and then have no online available for your games
For me the 360 had only a decent year. Not a Halo, Fable, or Kinnect fan. I was really excited for Alan Wake and ME2. They just didn't deliver like I thought. Alan Wake had a cool theme and story, but the gameplay was too repetitious. ME2 is a shell of what once was a RPG. It's still a great game, but is really limited with rpg elements compared to the first. Hoping Gears 3 is great and there's some other great exclusives coming.
