Anyone that thinks it works all the time hasn't played in the beta very long. For every spray and pray player in a game there's 5 guys that will gun you down before you get even close. It's usually the noobs that don't know what to do when someone tries to run up on them. All that matters to me is that it's fun and in the past week I've had a lot of fun. So much that i got to level 35.
I'm playing in the subway early access and it's not like that. Still too many tools playing objective modes as deathmatch. They need to stop tracking kills period on those modes. Then they'll have nothing to brag about for all their efforts to farm kills on objective modes.
I think they should have it for deathmatch and that's it. Ppl are still playing objective and plunder like it's deathmatch. In those modes their kills should not even add to over all kills. You got guys just camping on rooftops picking ppl off getting 40-50 kills in a match with no intention of playing it to win.
I couldn't care less if U3 is considered esport status. The game has depth that COD will never have and I'll be playing it just as much as U2's mp if not more
It's such a great option for really short titles or wanting to check out a game to see if it's worth a purchase
Congrats to MS for being able to draw in casuals to the 360. Unfortunately there's nothing for Kinect that interests me.....and until there is, no purchase of Kinect for me.
Great trailer, but like Yi-Long said no gameplay or screens yet. Sh1tty movies can still have great trailers.
I think there's only 2 titles that would have made a huge difference in sales for Sony if they were PS3 exclusives. GTA IV and FFXIII. They both would have driven sales of the PS3 simply on namesake. Another hit and miss for Sony was RDR. I heard rumors that they had passed on it for an exclusive and instead opted for Agent. Hopefully Agent delivers
Crooks are going steal it. Real fans are going to purchase it. Nothing new with the world. People that get it illegally generally have little to no intention of buying the game in the first place. All I know is I'll be purchasing my copy
I picked it up when it dropped to $25 on Amazon. I can't believe it didn't sell like hotcakes at that price. It's a great game, but not for $60. No replay value, handholding platforming, and easy difficulty. Ninja Theory does great making cinematic games they need to work on extending their games, fleshing out their combat more, and adding some replay value. Pretty much all the issues with HS are present in Enslaved. Ninja Theory really has a hard time learning from their mistake...
It didn't help that the hard difficulty setting wasn't all that hard either. Also it had some quirky controls/hand holding with platforming and other gameplay elements. Either way for the $25 that I paid for it, it was a great game. Ninja Theory need to learn that they need to increase the length of their games, make their combat more varied, and add replay value whether they choose online, challenges, co-op, etc..... Who wants to drop $60 on a short game with no replay?
There isn't much for quality software for either motion control scheme at this point. It's like saying horse crap sold 13 times more than dog crap. All consumers still ended up with steaming piles of $h!t.
I like Sony's idea of making Move geared more towards the core crowd, but there isn't much in the means of software at this point. Adding support to regular games doesn't do much for me unless it improves upon the standard controller. Kinect is just aim...
I'm guessing they meant shipped a ton of 360's because I can still see plenty in the stores by me along with Kinects. Maybe they mean in big cities or something, but there's plenty to be had in the Green Bay/Appleton Wisconsin area. Also they don't sell them directly to the consumer. Retailers do... so if they ran out they must have shipped all that they had produced to retailers.

I'm in the same boat. Stupid Time Warner. I'd actually see a reason to have XBL Gold if my ISP didn't block the feature.
I think only the hardcore will care that MS is only targeting the casuals in 2011. 360 only gamers still get all the multiplat titles (Dead Space 2, ME3, Dragon Age 2, Dues Ex, Crysis 2, Portal 2, Batman Arkham City, another COD, etc..) along with the couple exclusives (Gears 3 and Forza 4). All I know is I'm going to be broke in 2011 with LBP2, ME3, Gears 3, Uncharted 3, Dead Space 2, Batman Arkham City, Deus Ex, ICO collection, Killzone 3, Last Guardian, inFAMOUS 2, Resistance 3, Portal...
Neither the 360 or the PS3 are going to be disappearing. They're both in 40 mil install base range. The gamecube sold 21.5 mil LTD and the original xbox sold 25 mil LTD.
If Kinect helps increase sales of the 360 over the PS3 well into 2011. I think we'll see Sony drop the price sooner than later to stay competitive. With a ton of high end exclusives coming out in 2011 Sony may wait and see if demand for those titles lead to PS3 sales grow. Either way I really don'...
It's too bad NT hasn't learned anything. They make great games; great voice acting, graphics, and decent stories. Increase the game length a bit, add maybe a little more variety, don't run their mouths and they'd prolly hit a homerun. Happy I got to pick it up for $25 though :D. Hopefully this means more rpgs coming from NB because of all of this.
classy
T2 has enough open world game series already. No need to whore out GTA every year like COD.
I miss the $5-20 gift card bonuses they were doing for awhile. Unfortunately I think those days are over. Should have some good options this year as long as games don't suffer delays
