Highly doubt they'd do that to themselves. They know where their fan base likes to play their games, and it's not on Origin.

Very true, but you've gotta remember that Nintendo is going for a different demographic, and gaming has been blown wide open into mainstream pop culture over the last few years. The 360 and PS3 were still only for "hardcore" gamers. Everything is more accessible for larger audiences these days.

I really liked this game, but I do think they stumbled around a lot with the story. During the first half I was thinking this was going to replace Borderlands 2 as my GOTY for 2012, but after finishing it I don't think it even places top 3. Top 5 maybe, but they really went in some wonky directions with a lot of things.
PS2 was still running strong when 360 launched. PS3 was $600.
Yeah, there are people out there who have tried this before and they have to SLI top cards to get it to run BF3 smooth at 4k. It costs thousands of dollars to game smoothly at 4k right now.

I do agree about negativity over there, but what do you expect? They've screwed up their last two fan favorites, increasingly showing signs of full EA assimilation. Yeah, glaring double standard, but they don't care. They don't really have any sort of crusade against the alleged sexism (and probably racism, too) they see all around them in their everyday life. They just want a battle to fight, legitimate or not. Unfortunately, they also know how to use the internet, so everyone else has to deal with it.

This late in the game it really doesn't matter. Microsoft made great strides this generation, while Sony stumbled over themselves time and time again. The 360 is the "it" console in America, the world's biggest gaming market. That's more of a victory than any sales slack Sony can possibly pick up now.
