You should never trust game previews. They are never negative for a reason.
People like the license. Game sucked. Gearbox lied. Not too complicated.
Probably my least favorite person in the gaming industry right now, and for no reason pertaining to the Aliens flop. He's acted like nothing but a smug, condescending d-bag to the Borderlands 2 community since launch.

These guys bit off of Filthy Frank, and a lotta people thought they had started it: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Surprised you tore yourself away from DOTA 2 long enough to visit N4G.
Like the Halloween skins, they're not new. Been in the game since launch. Anyone playing on PC who needs skins, just throw me a PM. I got 'em all.
I only played one of them. Hell's Highway I think. Didn't care for it.
Borderlands is their only good series, IMO.
The good news: cheap games
The bad news: you bought them on Origin
Anything but mobile...
Well their outsourcing to other devs is certainly the reason behind Borderlands 2's DLC being so mediocre.
Stop with the cameras, everybody. STOP IT!
TotalBiscuit is pretty spot-on about this, IMO. There's always some weird bunch that defends bad games to the death, and they're a negative force on the industry as a whole.

Overrated. Clearly you were paid off for your review.
UE4 only looks a couple steps better than current UE3.
Dial your expectations back a bit.
Geometry Wars and PJ Shooter? I believe the comparison you're trolling to make is with Super Stardust HD.
They were bankrupt when Journey launched after creating 2 games for the PS3. It obviously doesn't pay to stay under Sony's heel like they have been. They don't even own the properties they've created under Sony.
Go multiplat, own your work, earn more for your trouble.
Bring it to Steam, whatever it is.
That's my point. The previews always ignore the negative. It's pure promotion, even when you have to use massive deception to achieve it.
