I hate IGN for arming all of these idiot bloggers with that word. They rarely use it correctly and assume it gives them a license to squash any legit criticism.
Only care about BioShock Infinite and Tomb Raider.
You guys give me labwarrior flashbacks.
Unsurprising move from the company that brought the world rootkits on music CDs and SecuROM to PC gaming. Just another dumb idea in the name of "hey, we might be losing a few bucks, so we're gonna jam you up with a bunch of BS, just in case". These simpleminded tactics hurt revenue by creating consumer resentment, adding to whatever you believe you're losing through used games or piracy.
If they go through with this, all Microsoft has to do is not follow the...
Clearly the game doesn't have enough space marines and explosions for the writer. A common problem for the modern gamer.
Yeah, eliminating used games like this would doom their next console. It would also eliminate rental services and simple borrowing between friends. Extremely consumer hostile.
They're already fighting an uphill battle against the Xbox. This would essentially attach a giant boulder to their ankle, making the climb nearly impossible. All Microsoft has to do is not be total jerks like Sony, and they've won.
You can hardly blame people for their reaction. You and I both know Vames worded that intentionally to get the exact reaction he got.

Happy New Year, everybody.
Thirty Flights of Loving. I still really need to play that game.
Hope it comes to PC and gets Humble Bundled so I can pay for it and not give any money to the developer, only to charity. Phil Fish can be quite a character, to put it nicely. I hear his game is good, but I would rather not give him any money for it.
Hah. No.
Haven't tried the DLC. I guess one is supposed to be Halloween themed and the other is supposed to be a goof on Enter the Dragon?
If you're referring to my post, I didn't spoil anything. Merely implied that the story ends in a way that makes a sequel difficult without changing a lot of things.
Just played through this last week, really enjoyed it. Hope they make another one, but I suspect they'll need a new main character based on how the story wraps. That or a new location, which isn't something I'd want. Really liked the Hong Kong flavor.
What's with all this talk of 16gb of RAM floating around here lately? As others have said, games don't need more than 4gb as it is. Stop parroting whoever ignorantly started this meme about 16gb of RAM being required for gaming.
1080p is realistic. It takes immense GPU power to run games smoothly in 4K right now. Consoles will not come anywhere close to the power required at the moment.
Same. I see these PS3 exclusives and see nothing but wasted potential. Even PC games running on UE3 often blow away PS3 exclusives.
Console gaming is doomed. These idiots just copy bad ideas from each other.
Not really. You can sign in on any computer with your Steam ID, and install whatever game you want. Maybe 5% of the games on there have some 3rd party DRM poison with activation limits. The rest can be installed unlimited times on unlimited machines. Valve only intervenes if they see an account being used on hundreds of machines.
This kind of nonsense from Sony wouldn't allow that to happen. 1 disc, 1 machine. Unless you buy some kind of unlock, I assume. Paying more for ...
