This game is a masterpiece and should be played by any serious gamer.
You must live in some alternate reality where what you’re saying is even remotely true.
Metroid Prime 5
This is kind of like the cigarette industry trying to combat nicotine addiction.
I had a PS4 controller battery die on me. It wouldn’t work unless the charge cable was connected. So, yes that can, and sometimes does happen.
It’s actually harder than the original’s normal difficulty. I just played through hardcore mode, and it’s pretty tough. Basic zombies take many shots to kill, and most enemy attacks can drop your health from fine to danger. You also really have to conserve ammo or you can get yourself into a no-way-to-win scenario and have to start all over.
I’m glad to see this once-great company become great again. I hope they keep it up and not succumb to greed and bad decisions like they did last gen.
That would make certain games like Super Mario Party, Pokémon Let’s Go and 1-2 Switch unplayable as they require motion controls with a single detached Joy Con. So it’s highly doubtful that will happen.
Bayonetta 2 may not have sold well, but it’s not crap. And of course Shenmue 3 hasn’t been profitable. It hasn’t released yet to generate any profit. Do you think before responding?
You can’t really make the Joy Cons smaller. The current ones are small enough.
Konami should sell the IP to Capcom and let them do it justice with a great remake of the original game.
I know it’s been remade already, but my top choice for another remake would be the original game. It would be great to explore that mansion with the new RE engine. My second choice for a remake would be Code Veronica since it’s the real sequel to RE2 and continues the story of the Umbrella Corporation in a way that RE3 doesn’t. RE3 is more of a side story, but still a great game. The Nemesis is creepy and menacing.
5 is a solid action shooter, but a poor Resident Evil game as it made little to no attempt to scare the player. 6 is a train wreck.
I think it’s a roundabout way of saying that if RE2 remake sells well enough, they’ll consider developing an RE3 remake, which would be cool. Though I feel Code Veronica is in more need of a remake than RE3.
I would prefer a remake of Code Veronica over RE3.
I was kind of disappointed that you encounter him in the first play through. In the original, he didn’t appear until the second playthrough in Scenario B.
I played Prime 1 the day of release because I was a big fan of Super Metroid. I haven’t been blown away by a game as much as I was with my first play through of Prime. It amazed me how well Retro translated the 2D gameplay of the previous games into a 3D world. The sequels are both great but didn’t have that new-ness factor of the first one.
An HD remaster of the Prime trilogy with the option of both motion controls and game pad controls would be great.
I’d also love a Metroid collection similar to Mario All Stars that includes all the non-Prime Metroid games including the 3DS game.
They’ve made 4 bad Star Wars movies by my count.
I want my black-face game dang it!
