We'll see though, price cuts could change those numbers
By that logic 360 shouldnt even be around the Wii is absolutely destroying it.
sounds like a good concept but I'll hold my breath until I see this engine in action.
They add to the immersion and add the wow factor that complements good gameplay. Glitchy/unpolished graphics are a nuisance that usually detracts from the experience. Visuals=Gameplay, more people say gameplay is more important but I think it's like 50/50 or 55/45 gameplay.
The purchase of free radical has nothing to do with Crysis. Free Radical may be familiar with the PS3 hardware but they know nothing about CryEngine 2, the beast that puts most computers to shame. I doubt this has anything to do with Crysis coming to the PS3
Maybe they did have low pre-orders? Who knows. What does it matter anyway if it opens at midnight or a few more hours the next day? That won't affect sales, will it? I think they have more pre-orders than any other PS3 exclusive but still not enough for a midnight release. MGS4 probably only had a midnight release because of the combination of the game and the 80gb bundle coming out
I know Edge is harsh on most games, fallout, ME, last year's GOTY was LBP, however some of their reviews are downright questionable. Here's an excerpt from the Halo 3 review which was a 10/10...."In substance it’s nothing new, merely a magnificent, beautiful monster of an FPS sequel. In concept and execution, though, Halo 3 is the future."
KZ2 brings nothing new and the story is somewhat weak and loses 3 points for it? I don't understand how they scored it.
Over half those "quality" titles are available on PC as well and the PC is definitely the better experience, and only 1/3 of those titles AT MOST average a 90 or better on review sites, so your argument fails on every level. Killzone 2 is averaging a 93 right now, it is a fantastic game, how flawed could it possibly be where it's AVERAGING a 93/100??? Since you obviously want the "best experience" in all those multi-plat games why don't you get a pc??? I'm sorry but your j...
All the gripes he had with the game are the same ones I have, the controls feel so clunky after having played all those other TPS games with fluid controls, especially the inability to move and shoot or aim and move at the same time. These "classic" controls don't work anymore, plain and simple. Even the most die hard RE fan has to admit to that.
Another mediocre review for this exclusive DLC all saying the same thing: Not worth the price tag and shallow. MS better make sure the money they spent on this is worth it for the next 2 packs.
.
Downloaded the demo for the first one, it was absolutely terrible. Thankfully the movie was pretty good.
If I don't see anything on this game by summer of this year, it's never coming out.
The old games are exactly what they are, OLD! This is a new generation, you need new gen gameplay and if you can't walk/shoot/aim simultaneously, that is FAIL for me. Very disappointing if Capcom doesn't implement this.
Capcom is using the same MT framework engine they used for DMC4. It could be that it's just the demo and they fixed these things in the final retail version or the RE5 demo build for PS3 is an older one. We'll see what happens when the game is released.
Finally an xbox fan who actually thinks straight. Halo is a great series but you have to be a blind fanboy not to see that other fps's have surpassed it(COD4,KZ2,Crysis)
94 is damn amazing, don't you all remember what KZ1 got on metacritic(70)? This is probably the biggest improvement EVER made to a sequel. All PS3 owners should be proud.
Eurogamer gave it a 9, this site gave it a 97% for graphics(the review is still mediocre) and Edge hasn't reviewed the game yet.
Have you played the game? No. Do you have a PS3? No. This game is a B rated title? 95% of reviewers disagree with you, they are professionals, you are nobody. Good day.
That'll be out right after Gears of War 3 PS3
