Knowing Square, they'll find a way to add in at least one more spin off title before III comes out. And if anyone had played Dream Drop Distance you'll know what i'm referring to. That being said I would expect it to be on the Vita.
I want a new Metroid too, but if I have to play devil's advocate for a second, I see why they did this. DKCR sold more than all three Prime games combined. Also, Other M bombed (for obvious reasons) so i'm a little worried they might put Metroid on hiatus for a while.
Actually I would like EAD make a 3D DK game. Look what they did with the Galaxy games and then think what they could do with DK.
I go back and forth on this. The DKC trilogy were one of the defining games of my childhood and I was like a little kid again playing DKCR. So to tell you the truth I have no problem with a new DKC game being made. I want a new Metroid, a new Star Fox and new IPs, but at the very least this game will still be great.
Hmm, just like with the PS3 launch i'll be skipping the PS4 launch. Not that there's anything bad with the launch lineup so far, just that I have too many games to play right now to justify buying another console. Also, while there's some good games at launch, none of them are must haves for me. When Infamous Second Son comes out is probably when I get my PS4.

Exactly. The article is obvious troll bait, but still it needs to be said. Anyone with half a brain now knows that f it wasn't for Nintendo this game wouldn't even exist. So to say the series will die now that it's exclusive despite the fact that it's because of said exclusivity that the game is even being made, is silly.
Honestly I know some people want Naughty Dog to do another Uncharted or new IP for the PS4, but f*ck that I want a new Jak and Daxter. And they did say they were thinking of doing a Jak 4 before doing The Last Of Us so there's hope...kinda...it's never going to happen.

Well I went to the event yesterday. If it was true, no one noticed. Probably because we had games to play instead of looking at a cable box.
Man going into E3 I had zero interest in a new Mario Kart. Wii and 7 didn't do anything for me. I was more excited for the new 3D Mario and Retro's game but coming out of it i'm more excited for Mario Kart than those two. The tracks look great, the online looks neat and the visuals. I really don't care about graphics but damn this game looks good, which is surprising considering Mario Kart games have always been known for not looking the best. Not really surprising. The other consoles while having no exclusives no doubt, don't depend on them like Nintendo does.
Pretty much, the reason Sony and Nintendo we're cocky was because in both their respective times (NES/SNES era and PS1/PS2 era) they were gaming. Nothing could touch them. But Microsoft? Halo was the only thing that saved the original Xbox and the 360 was popular in the US, but everywhere else it was either Sony or Nintendo. So Microsoft being this cocky doesn't make sense. I guess it's just the third console curse.
Well Nintendo's never been known for clever titles so this doesn't surprise me.
