If there's one thing I've learned in my short time on this planet besides Ice Cream first thing in the morning being a bad idea, is to never count Nintendo out. They always seem to be on the brink of destruction, always on life support and yet they're always ranked as the number one game publisher in the world. I know I keep on saying this but Nintendo will get themselves out of this rut, if they can salvage themselves after the Virtual Boy, then they can get out of this, and hope...
Get ready for the "Rise of Wii U" articles coming out at the end of the year when 3D Mario and Mario Kart come out. Just like the 3DS, funny how history loves to repeat itself.
There's no theory, it sold poorly because 1) Nintendo isn't advertising the thing and just assuming people will buy it because it has "Nintendo" on the box. 2) No games came out that month.
Well technically it next gen just means the successor to a previous product or the time said product releases. But to me a next gen system takes all the positives and negatives of the previous system and fixes it, not just an increase in visual fidelity.
Okay, found out this is pretty much the work of GAMING JOURNALISM with a misleading headline and was actually referring to activation codes. I was wrong, may bad. Thought gaming websites would have more integrity than that- oh who am I kidding.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANND i'm out. I said before there was now way I would support a system that does this. Sony just shot themselves in the foot by doing this, because now there's a lot of people who will not buy their system, myself included.
Sony, you see I am what you would call a big Nintendo fan, out of all the developers out there they're one of my favorite if not my favorite, but if there's ONE THING that p*sses me off to no end about Nintendo, is when they region lock their consoles and handhelds. Sony, the PS3, PSP and Vita being region free were honestly one of the main selling points for those systems for me, so please, for the love of Chad Warden his holiness, make the PS4 region free, there's always a bunch...
Maybe if you released a finished game many Wii U owners were looking forward to on time it would be a different story.
Well, I was wrong. I like a lot of people thought the PS4 wouldn't be a big leap and would be comparable to Wii U, hell John Carmack was always one of my "sources" to back my claim up. But hey I have no problem with being wrong. It isn't say as big of a jump from PS2 to PS3 but it's still much more powerful than the Wii U, so yes in that case I was wrong. Doesn't matter, enjoying my Wii U and will be for years to come and can't wait to get my hands on the PS4 whe...
Ah, I remember playing Doom 2 on my PC in like 1997 or 1998, I was six or seven at the time, yeah probably shouldn't of been playing Doom but still awesome memories playing that game, excited to play Doom 4 in the next six years... jesus Carmack hurry up!
He's content, the day we truly see this man happy is a day where fire and brimstone fall from the sky.
Very good news, hopefully it's a port of the PC version, kind of like NFSMW. When I first saw this game I thought it would be perfect for the Wii U, using the gamepad to hack into the environment.
'Phew" We can rest easy now. Thank you Sony for having common sense, now the real question is will Microsoft be as smart...
Well I think people care because some people think the PS4 is digital only. Guys, not going to happen. Internet in a lot of countries aren't ready for a digital only system, with stuff like bandwidth limits.
LET'S RIOT JUST BECAUSE!
He has Kaz Harai on speed dial.
Eh, we'll see. No doubt Sony will have a strong first party lineup like they always do, but at launch? For as amazing as their consoles/handhelds are their launches were never exactly amazing. Now this is the case for most consoles (minus the SNES and Dreamcast's launches which were amazing) but I would love to be wrong.
Here's why, it's only three months old and none of the big system sellers are there yet. I find it weird how so many people claim to be gamers yet they will jump the gun and say anything new is doomed and most of the time be glad about it. PS3 wasn't doomed, 3DS wasn't doomed, Vita is slowly turning things around as is the Wii U. Now get ready for the PS4/720 is doomed articles at the end of the year!
Umm they actually did that with XIII-2...
Actually that would be a great idea. While Xenoblade sold well, it could of done better if it was released outside of GameStop. Not to mention it would be a great way to introduce people to the game before Xenoblade 2 comes out. Hell they could include a demo of Xenoblade 2 as extra incentive. But it's more than likely not true.
