This is similar to those troll bait articles that came out when the PS3 was announced saying it was more powerful than high end PCs. While i'm not 100% sold yet on the PS4, I still think it looks like a great system, but stop bull sh@ting us with the whole "it's more powerful than a PC" shtick. It just makes real fans look like ignorant morons.
Reminds me a few months ago I came across IGN's 3DS is doomed and Vita is set to succeed articles. Oh hindsight.
But not as much as NeoGaf.
Considering this is Pachter making this statement, I guess that means the Wii U will sell twice as much as the PS4/720.
Easy mistake, but no. Originally the game was going to be called "Monado: Beginning of the World" but changed it to Xenoblade as a tribute to Takahashi's hard work on the game and as a nod to his previous games Xenogears and Xenosaga. But none of the games are connected. Xenogears is owned by Square, Xenosaga is owned by Namco and Xenoblade is owned by Nintendo.
The Western cover looks like a mockup, the Japanese one looks amazing. Remind me why we didn't get this again?
I think in a week or two we'll see a new ND for Wii U. Probably announce release dates for Game & Wario, Wii Fit U, The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3 (at least I hope to god they do) show off the OS update and maybe even announce some new third and first party Wii U games. They need to do all they can to get Wii U sales up.
As much as I love my Wii U and think Nintendo will be fine and the Wii U will be a success, I do agree the console was rushed to launch and Nintendo screwed up the launch big time.
The OS was and still is slow, there were a couple times where it would freeze booting up Miiverse or exiting out of a game, services weren't ready, games weren't ready, it seems like Nintendo rushed the system out to get the initial holiday sales.
So being okay with a company taking out features is growing up? Good thing I never want to grow up.
But seriously, people have every right to be pissed about the PS4 not being backwards compatible. I personally don't care because i'm keeping my PS3 because i'm a collector but for a lot people I know no backwards compatibility is a deal breaker. And if you think people should "grow up" because they don't like a company taking out a feature and if you ...
Oh yay, another Nintendo is doomed post. Sorry if I don't put much stock in the same people that told me Nintendo is finished for the past twenty years now.
Everything about this post makes my brain hurt. I thought Nintendo screwed over Sony and then the PS1 was created. But maybe Marty McFly messed up the timeline again.
April is quarter 2
@TongkatAli
Mega Man X6 was the series high point? Excuse me while I vomit. /jk
I never said Nintendo is the best company in the world because the Wii sold 100 million, I never said Sony or the PS3 were shit, so thanks for putting words in my mouth. And how many new IPs Sony made this gen wasn't the topic at hand. The topic was can the PS3 still win the console war, and yes it's plausible for the PS3 to eventually outsell the Wii, but my point was even if they do they still lost billions of dollars on the PS3 and put Sony in even more financial woes. And since th...
No, even if the PS3 ends up selling more than the Wii in the long run, the billions of dollars Sony lost this gen does not make them the "winner".
One of my most anticipated games this year. Well i'm worried now...
And yet the greatest Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy V, still hasn't gotten a remake. 'Sigh' why must Square Enix depress me...
