In fact, there is both (and excellent graphics and excellent gameplay). I have already mentioned the following:
"You've seen the physics of water! When a grenade exploded in the water! The visible range of drawing, dynamic lights, particle effects, physics of explosions, destruction of objects (so far revealed only the destruction of transport) ... Object motion blur! Number of actions happening on the screen! "
Try to download this trailer from the official site ...
I see the stunning graphics. If you do not see, maybe it's worth thinking about whether it is worth to play video games.
Sorry, did not want to offend. But the game (already) looks almost at the level of Crysis, and blame it for graphics ...
I formed the impression that even if Microsoft will show in-game graphics unbelievably fantastic level, it will still criticize and slander (on this site).
PS3 (only) fans are crazy. Watch this video in 720p, there is a button at the bottom (which would choose the resolution) ... Even though the low quality video can draw conclusions. You've seen the physics of water! When a grenade exploded in the water! The visible range of drawing, dynamic lights, particle effects, physics of explosions, destruction of objects (so far revealed only the destruction of transport) ... Object motion blur! Number of actions happening on the screen! KZ2 ... Reach d...
In some ways this is a limitation. When you create a game with a large, open worlds developers have to use different tricks to limit the ability explore the game world. And they had a hard time in the planning stage of locations ... in general this is a headache, and restriction of creative ideas. Course in a careful and competent design problem can be circumvented, but still ...
If Microsoft implemented a similar installation on a PC to unpack the entire game on your hard drive ...
Biggest - "Can someone please direct me to the nearest video showing the sandbox. Or at the very least show me the developer comments that lead everyone to say that there is a sandbox. Thank you kindly."

And little analysis:

In fact, Halo 1 and 2 were some of the most technically advanced games in the past generation ...
With regard to this comparison, I wrote the following http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-...
Above I wrote "GOW3 - too early to judge, but it seems - a good artistic style;", and after watching the new gameplay video GOW3, still will not renounce my words. The game began to look better, mostly due to object motion blur (which was not in the E3 version). But all the major scenes are virtually cut-cenes, with a limited set of actions - Quick Time Events (QTE). I still think that in terms of lighting, textures, polygon count, effects GOW3 no better than UC2. The game looks gre...
"if you actually play and see, you'll be surprised at the amount of high res textures they have, the same goes for the particle effects"
If you actually know what it means high-resolution textures ... Sorry, perhaps you know, like I played KZ2 (the game is on full, a couple of times passed, and a couple of weeks in multiplayer) ... But in terms of texture, even Halo 3 is better than KZ2 ... All that I have written above is true, only that I missed - that KZ2 really has a good ...
Great example, MiLKJDO. There does not even need to "magnifying glass" to see where in fact more polygons, though probably "ps3 glasses" increase the number of polygons in some games:)
Gamer7l, people on this site do not like the truth. Just insert the disk with the game (KZ2) and see with your own eyes to how many polygons in the models. It's just a joke sort of ... Virtually all objects are flat, almost all the textures are very low resolution, low-poly models, there is little vegetation and other complex objects, the whole physics of the solid script, almost all the light is not dynamic ... The game has only excellent models of several types of weapons (which closed a th...
And what about GOW3! It has changed greatly over the past months. Compare the E3 demo and recent gameplay shots. But the major change that I noticed - it is object motion blur, which is very strongly decorates the game!
By this, I think that Reach can markedly improve ... We'll see ...
Very stupid article! Suitable only mindless fans. It is better to compare in-game model of Marines in the Reach and game model of Hellgast. And if we compare the models main characters, the game models to Reach almost the same as in the opening CG clip in KZ2. Game Models in Reach are an order of magnitude more polygons ... And about the texture of characters I just keep silent. But to argue with a fan ps3 - just hopeless.
A couple of pictures:
KZ2:
...The depth sensor consists of an infrared projector combined with a monochrome CMOS sensor, and allows the Project Natal sensor to see in 3D under any ambient light conditions...the software technology enables advanced gesture recognition, facial recognition, and voice recognition. The skeletal mapping technology shown at E3 2009 was capable of simultaneously tracking up to four users for motion analysis, with a feature extraction of 48 skeletal points on a human body at a frame rate of 30...
Bayonetta, in my personal opinion - the best "hack-and-slash" game over the last couple of years. Have you finished it completely, from beginning to end. The game always presents surprises with each new level, and even upon repeated passage. Of course it (Bayonetta) not the best graphics, but in terms of gameplay it is great (in my opinion!).
I think I would get great pleasure from GOW3, but for me it will be somewhat different experience (these games are quite differen...
cgoodno - you are one of the few sane people on this site. Most simply do not have an opinion, they are not able to draw their own conclusions, they are only guided by the articles of various fanatics ... and then try to prove something to you against all logic ... sad ...
PS
GOW3 in motion looks amazing. But I do not see anything supernatural in technical terms. All entertainment scene - it's more saver (cutscene) than the gameplay. And in general the game has an excellent...
"It's called knowledge and understanding the difference between good tech and art design" - I think just as you, but do not agree with your examples.
UC2 - very good tech;
Killzone - good art design;
GT5 - good art design;
GOW3 - too early to judge, but it seems - a good artistic style;
Alan Wake - too early to judge, but clearly a great technical achievement.
raztad, I'm sorry if I offended you by my last statement. Did not want, but you just argued that S did not play in KZ2. In your opinion, if someone criticizes the game - it means he did not play into it?
And what I wrote is my personal findings, to undertake some analysis I did not need to read some articles on the Internet. I did not say that KZ2 bad game, it is generally better, but they both have strengths and weaknesses ...
agree with you. I think Gow3 disappoint many in terms of graphics, except hard-core fans. Which (fans), if even gave them the game to the level of graphics as in Gow2, will scream that it is better than UC2.
Analyze the videos and screenshots, there are blurry textures, low-poly models, sprites of objects and vegetation in the far ...
Actually I do not fanboy. I am satisfied with my PS3 and Xbox 360. Just everything that I say, based on my own conclusions. And it's very funny when the fanatics who know nothing about graphics technologies are trying to prove something, and compare different games.
I have experience with 2D/3D graphics, I know how much difficult to calculate the various post-effects, how does the stage lighting and rendering in general. I have my own eyes and own mind to make certain conclusions, unlik...
