Common sense, intelligence and lack of "pink" glasses - are rarity on this site. I agree with you. Most people who argue about the graphics in games are not much in the know, and often not guided by their opinions, but the PR talking.
P.S.
Both games that you mentioned have their strengths and weaknesses, and they can not compare the literal, and they are both excellent in graphic design (just different).
This is the first game on multiple disks, which allows you to install and play without changing the disk (although Forza implemented something similar). And this is a big plus, because it solves the problem with big games, with large open worlds. Especially since the majority of Xbox360 owners have a hard drive, Microsoft also allowed to use a USB memory 2 * 16GB (by apparently just for this reason), and buy a large hard disk is not that a problem for the serious player. So it's no proble...

For those who put disagree (or simply have poor vision) in this comment - "Look closely at the hair (on the pictures that you have taken). Xbox 360 shows more detail (the hair).
but the resolution in the version on the xbox 360 a little lower (just a little but noticeable) "

I made this picture to the article on my site last year to the day of the first of April.
What kind of graphical beast in question ...? In God of War 3 graphics pretty good but not as amazing. The only what stands out the game because it is animation, well, and light (HDR) in some respect, too. All the rest is not impressive - a low-polygon models, poor textures, scripting stage and the fixed camera angles (beforehand rendered by the video clips).
Half of this alleged gameplay video - this is a clean script. In this case at this stage we see a pair of polygonal planes of t...
"Halo: Reach" looks amazing
Graphically, "Halo: Reach" looks amazing. Check both the video clip in full and in HD (paying attention to all sorts of small details and estimating the scale of what is happening).
What you can find fault, it's artistic style, but this is a matter of taste of each. As for the technical performance - in the game everything is fine.

PS3 version has a terrible shadow (pixilated shadows from dynamic objects), in a version for xbox 360 is much softer shadows (smooth). Also on the ps3 is completely absent the effect of SSAO. Otherwise, both versions are about the same, both are in sub-HD resolution, but at 60 fps.

The second picture turned out blurry, so took a picture, photograph it again it made no sense because the idea - to show the difference in the shadows. This is not to think that the version on the Xbox 360 fuzzy, in terms of clarity, both look the same.
That's interesting. I played the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, and it seems that the game is in sub-HD resolution, but there is 60 frames per second. It seems that there 2xMSAA. Xbox 360 version looks better, there is SSAO ...

In the game there are shadows, moreover there is also a SSAO. It depends on the lighting (illumination level), the dim / diffuse light (cloudy), almost no shadows (in real life), here likewise. See more videos or screenshots, and all will see.
Also pleased with the speakers from Logitech. I have been using Z-5450 for several years, the sound quality is very good. Also they are very loud, only in rare cases, listen to their higher than half the volume. It is a pity of course that there is no HDMI, but the two optical and one coaxial plug is enough for 5.1 channel systems.
Disagree? By passing the fact that the resolution is less, so also the frame rate is limping badly.
Look at the resolution of the menu items and navigation (compass with the mini-map for example), and the settlement of the actual game world - the difference is obvious ...
I hope this is not the final build of games. Technically, the game's head higher than GTA4, and it looks great, but this lack of a bit confusing ...

It's funny that the game runs in subHD resolution ...
I hope that I was mistaken. But watching the video from different sources is inclined to think that way. Maybe a bad video quality also plays a role, but there definitely is a problem: either sub HD, or the lack of anti-aliasing.
Originally this game was supposed to show what PS3 is capable, according to Tecmo. And originally developed as an exclusive for the ps3 ... But looking at the videos from E3, I can say that this kind of parody of Gears of War, and as for the graphic execution of the game, Quantum Theory does not even reach the first part of Gears of War.
In this form this is purely for casual players, but they can make a hybrid control. Wheel + Kinect with the tracking of body tilt / rotation of the head.
This does not pre-rendered graphics, it is real time. All this comes from fragments of plot scenes in the game engine.
