They have said often they have no plans for console development. That might mean starcraft ghost might return this time only as a pc game too.
I can somewhat understand this model if they prefer this instead of charging monthly. Think about it as continuous gameplay for the lifetime of the game by this or that price, rather than continuous monthly fees.
If that's what this model means, I guess it is fine.
Hey, buddie. No prob. Just found out the Northrend Battleground Blockout is now available for testing. You can go to Dalaran. The battleground battlemaster room is now revamped. The blockout battleground was renamed to Strand of the Ancients Battleground.

Q&A # 41 took this long because Karune was at the 2008 Paris Blizzard Worldwide Invitationals. I met him there. As he said at the battle.net forums, there are many fansites and gaming sites which offered a lot of Starcraft 2 info. Karune answered the fansites a lot of questions. Again, I was there when he was answering questions. I asked him a few.
Interesting device. Wonder how it plays out with World of Warcraft.
He is. His job is to write or lead the creative design of games's storylines. He also takes care of pocket books, RPG books, the Warcraft film, and the DC/Wildstorm comic book.
Right on the nail, Tyrael. It was announced by now. Blizzard Acquired the domain name. The ownership transfer will take place probably on June. For now, the community has changed domain name to diablofans.com
The diablo3.com will continue to link to diablofans.com until June, when it will be under the control of Blizzard Entertainment. This ownership transfer was not a sale as some gaming sites have reported. Roger Barr (Mockery) decided to give the domain name to Blizzard for fr...
Agreed. Fans wouldn't be happy of a micro-transaction model. I played Hellgate: London Beta and people was very pissed about the in-game advertising specially for a game you have to pay for monthly. Usually you pay for access to content to remove advertising in certain gaming sites. People feels cheated if on top of paying they also have to dig advertising.
That's not entirely the case with the free gameplay + micro-transaction model, but pretty close. People pays a subscriptio...
About time. This will be fun.
Those who use no-cd crack are vulnerable to trojans, virus, spyware, malware and whatnot. Do you trust the third-party software? Or would you rather have Blizzard release their own native no-cd? Starcraft got it 2-3 weeks ago. This time it was Warcraft 3's turn. More power to us.
Patch 1.22 is in the works, and it's expected in upcoming weeks. Blizzard can't really predict when a patch is ready to go. They indeed said the patch 1.22 would be out by the end of December, then b...
Diablo 2 No CD Patch is coming soon. Official.
Correct, I was just playing on Battle.net with no CD on the CD-Drive.
Medievaldragon from Blizzplanet here. I have known of this mod for 3-4 years. Blizzplanet is 5-years old.
To answer why this mod needs Starcraft: Brood War and Warcraft III: Frozen Throne CDs, it is simple: This mod is based on a total conversion of another Blizzard Game. All Blizzard games prior to World of Warcraft had an internal CD-key which interacted with a Battle.net identification protocol that ensures anti-piracy parameters. Blizzard's Legal Department is very sens...

Man, I would love to see Jessica Alba as an Undead shadow priest casting Mana tap and shadow dots. Melting faces.
Chuck Norris as a Human Rogue.
We will find out on December 4 when those who subscribed get the newsletter with exclusive details.
Would be awesome to see Chuck Norris as a Rogue, Kicking enemies.
Starcraft: Ghost was meant to be like Ghost Recon or Splinter Cell where you would stealth your way through Terran, Protoss and Zerg bases undetected. You would snipe from the shadows.
You had to get rid of corpses throwing them through ventilation vents or into closets, or down a cliff or such. If other NPCs saw any corpses they would sound the alarm.
Enemy could detect you with special sensors you had to avoid. you could use infrared UI to see through walls. ...
It's a matter of choice. If you want the other features in the other game expansions, you go for it. Or you don't.
