There are some interesting bits in that press Q&A. I would really like Deathwing to be the focus in the Emerald Dream if he is the one behind the nightmare. In War of the Ancients trilogy deathwing was able to infiltrate the emerald dream without Ysera even noticing. So it is plausible he could hide in the Emerald dream all along and no one be the wiser he was there.
Well, let's say you decide to level a Death Knight once the expansion comes out. And your guild wants you to make that death knight your main character. However, you used the polar bear mount code on your previous main-character, which is now an alt replaced by the death knight.
Wasted mount ... except now its bound to account and you can share it around your alts. there you go.

It was nice they released the Sunwell so many months ago. I remember -- what was it, Naxxramas? was like the last content patch before Burning Crusade. It was released in a small window before the release date of the expansion.
Heck, I didn't even get to play Naxxramas, when I was already leveling to 70 in Burning Crusade. This time around, at least I had the chance to play some of the Sunwell. Still haven't gone past Kalecgos though -- shame on me. Seems like I am very unlucky...
One thing I disliked of the quests achievements is that you won't always know where to find that last quest. I am still 149/150 in Howling Fjord. I traveled every bit of land and water, and caves in Howling Fjord with find low-quest tracker on. I have no clue where that last quest is. That's another flaw about quests that start from a looted item. You don't know what mob to kill to drop that last quest.
Imagine someone obssessive enough to go kill 20 of each mob in all areas ...
Wish I had reserved a copy at the local store. Right after Gamestop put the Collector's Edition up, I grabbed it. Like 24 hours later, they updated it and said we have to pay an extra $15 for shipping. What a ripoff.
Well, I installed the patch. Launched beta. So far nothing seems broken. Didn't get "Can't validate game version" errors either. All went smooth.
theoretically they could create Housing using phase technology. Wouldn't be too hard to do.

The achievement to solo-kill Onyxia is quiet crazy. Would be nice if they granted some kind of rewards for certain epic-proportion achievements.
Yea that was what happened with the last patch previous to the launch of Burning Crusade. Beta testers now would get an error message concerning game version after that new patch. I guess we will find out pretty soon. I just finished downloading the patch, and gonna install.
I wonder if this new patch will break the game for beta testers who are still playing beta. I think something similar happened in Burning Crusade beta once everyone downloaded the last patch previous to launch.
I have heard a lot of fan feedback against the stats not being able to be customized anymore (dexterity, strength, vitality,etc.) However, we still don't know much of the runes and other factors that may have made them decide to take this step or to justify it.
I liked the gameplay, and look forward for beta testing when it is available. We barely had the chance to play through one dungeon and didn't experience a high level character with various skill points to see how it plays...
It would certainly be great to have a yearly expansion, but that's nigh impossible. Northrend got so much content, it makes you wonder how they were able to cram all that in two years. 15 months would be a good timeframe for each expansion, with maybe 2-3 months of beta testing.
Can't wait to get my collector's edition delivered to install it and get into Northrend to start leveling up. Those who are hesitant in making the jump to the expansion, I have played beta. It's just awesome. Much better than Burning Crusade. Heroes such as Sylvanas, Thrall, Varian Wrynn and Broll / Valeera fighting alongside you.
January would be too soon. The most important part of balancing is beta. That should last at least 3 months of beta testing minimum. So we are looking at a possible March-June release date frame. If we go back to their previous release dates, the original Starcraft shipped on April 1, 1998. It has a sentimental value to release it that day.
On the other side, June 30/July 1 has been another common release date for RTS games back on 2002 and 2003.
For as long as cinematics and gameplay are awesome, and the lore is expanded in very cool ways, I don't mind the three episode trilogy. I would really love to play beta before summer.
