Will it have a beta test?
Do they have Holodecks too?
Three or four Ravens in your base can really decimate a large group of enemy units bunching up. With four Ravens you can potentially wipe around 80 units sent to destroy your base or expansion.
This thing is really nice against zerglings, but takes way too long to research. It should never be missing in your arsenal however. It has some pretty cool uses both defensive/offensive.
I seriously don't see what guys see in cartoony naked women. It don't find anything appealing with that. It's fake.
I hope that Ruby Sanctum comes out soon. Need some trinkets and some upgrades.
My guess has been since this is the same team that worked on Warcraft III and Frozen Throne, Starcraft II might share the same release date:
July 1-3
WC3: July 1, 2002
WC3:TFT: July 3, 2003
There should be some kind of penalty. With WoW, you are penalized 10% damage to your gear, and that's costly. Nowadays, after a few deaths it costs me around 68 gold in repairs.
Not sure what would make sense in Star Trek. Maybe you lose money or need to travel from afar. Maybe you are forced to farm some kind of energy a few minutes a day in order to ensure resurrection, and if you don't you lose your character forever? I don't know.
It was about time. That means new quests from Malfurion and Tyrande in Cataclysm, and future expansions.
Just finished the book. It reveals the truth about the Emerald Nightmare and the character who is behind its spreading through the Emerald Dream.
Zerg only has the Overseer, and the Spore Crawler as detectors.
The Protoss only have the photon cannon and the Observer.
Terrans have the most detectors of all races: Missile Turret, Raven, and Scan Sweep.
If a noob can get a nuke ready in 5:30 minutes, a pro-gramer can probably shorten that time quick. really cool to see nukes out that early. that can prompt zerg/protoss to rush before that happens
Nice stuff. I really like the Terran build times and lowered costs in SC2. Can't wait to test the Protoss.
Loved the Hellion's Pizza Hut delivery motto, and the Viking's sequence where the computer talks a menu of choices like those you usually hear in those damned company's answering machines.
It's easy to navigate the interface. It's just got better looks, and got extra options than the old rusty Starcraft/battle.net interface.
That's the mother of a options menu. So many options and settings. The recording settings ain't enabled yet though. Bet fans are gonna have fun once that's introduced in a future build.
Thought I heard recently there wouldn't be a Aliens vs Predator.
I am gonna camp my email inbox and check the bnet account for the magic client download link ... oh yea !!!
yes yes yes, Gimme beta. That should mean its coming this weekend.
Pretty good for those laptop users who travel often by train, greyhound bus or flights. But pretty bad for those who have computers with no internet and are unable to authenticate the game one-time upon installation.
Basically, the game is to be treated like a MMO at retail: "Buy at your own risk. Got no internet? Can't play the game."
Cool. Goblin and Gnome Submarine transports for underwater zones.
