Its not "brutally" .......yea, its not your usual happy go lucky game, but its not brutal by any means.
This early in the year and i already have Nier:Automata , Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 and Horizon(preordered) on my backlog. Too busy with Nioh...
@masterfox
you do understand youre comparing a home console to a handheld that *can* output to a TV right?
IT DOESNT MATTER.
They all announce the announcement for the probable release date of something still in the works.
The difference? SONY did it with the ultimate style and class and this year sounds like they will do it again. the others....well...yeah.
@badz149
Its genius because its the best handheld we have ever gotten. The whole home console is a gimmick and its there for that 1% of N fans that would otherwise not buy the system. they might not say it, but i bet everyone at N will treat this as a handheld.
This is closer to PSTV than PS4 mind you.
@EddieNX
I haven't handled it yet, but i don't see how having 2 detachable halves adds anything to a gaming session. if anything, i'm thinking it hampers it. I cant see how an input heavy game like fighting games would work with that.
I don't see any game being played like that for any useful length of time.
The whole docking station and playing it on a tv....honestly, its a superb handheld and by all rights it should have stopped there.
since when dev time is any indicator for game size?

or, dont blow nothing and wait for a chance to play the game and really feel how it looks instead of trying to bitch about one still image which wasn't even captured for the purpose you're using it for.
i'm not gonna read it, but i'm sure sloth will be mentioned there.
S, N, M => S&M ..where has my mind gone to...
like every other balanced gamer on earth, ill wait for games i want to be exclusively available there, mostly rpgs. If not, ill pass. got plenty on my plate as it is.
@ Kabaneri
if it even approaches the story/lore complexity/layering BB had i will be very happy. Bloodborne wasnt just about about the combat and while nioh is looking superb i dont think what ive seen matches BB´s atmosphere
except, they cant make a X1 version that is different from PC and PS4/PRO
you are assuming the only games the system will ever see is nintendo's. launch lineup begs to differ.
One of the extremely rare instances i agree with pachter
I understand sites need news and clicks and such.... but this question.... how on earth are these two even competing? one is a game costing $60 and the other is a system @ $300....they are not even on the same platform...is it conceivable for anyone that SONY supporters would not get zero dawn to buy another console? i don't think this will happen in 1 single case. at worst, people will buy them both
saying that this summon system is like fxii is a bit of an overstatement. Granted, i haven't played this game to the end but there is a major difference here:
In XII, i had total control of my party and i could very easily create the conditions to use my summons. Whats more, espers did exactly what you expected them to, which is not whats happening in XV. Take Zodiark (really the only useful one) for example: whenever you wanted his uber attack you just had to cast pe...
what kinda comparison is this?
You cant really compare Horizon, with the ps4 install base as is to a launch console and a launch game. WTF?
