from a sony fanboy, you get a "meh" for effort

wasn't a 5.53 kernel exploit announced a while ago? this is SONY's response.

oh, i see how it is...we have to buy the "most powerful console ever made" to play -OLD- games.....
maybe its just me, but i prefer to have a console that gives me modern, exciting and varied -NEW- games.

jrpgs have the absolutely best titles if nothing else

2866d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

why do they even bother explaining...we do know the real reason. theyre getting royally beaten by PS4 and the switch is going to outsell it anytime soon.

@ArchangelMike
youre getting disagrees because you cant spot PR bullshit even when its shoved deep into your nostrils and it stinks like a mofo ....just like this one.

can someone tell me what does Microsoft understands "console engagement" is?

@Lightning mr Bubbles
Im just curious here, what do you suppose a real demo would give you? a different scene i suppose but the gameplay would still be the same. the formula is set. we have seen heavy rain, we have seen beyond. i dont think the demo was aimed to attract newcomers to this "genre" either....

@Goldby
@Sunny_D

its common sense that both psn and live make a shitton of money to justify their existence on their own in the next generation, whatever the consoles are. of course its not as simple as multiplying active subscriptions by $60 as that's just revenue at best...but still, common sense dictates both services are making lots and lots of money.

I will add one more switch to the stats when Shin Megami Tensei V comes out

@Fragnum

Im going to start by sayiing i havent played this. Hell i dont even own a xbox. what d your comments have to do with the fact that IamTylerDurden1 thinks 7 is a bit too much? do we all need to play every game in order to make an opinion wether a given score is higher or lower than it should be?
what does anything has to do with changing people's minds lol
is that why you post in here?

say what you will of SONY first parties, i dont think i have experienced such a scam from them in the past 8 years or more

2906d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

i was very hyped for this game but i had sooo many games to deal with when it released that i never played it. might pick up now on ps4 ofc.

2908d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

What do they mean with that title...was that ever in question?
Dunno, maybe its because i began my journey when games were a tad more than rectangles bouncing on the screen

@Death
That narrative right there is the problem. Thats why *i think* xbox fans don't understand why ps4 gamers love the console and the support it has. MS has ever been about one or two games (Halo, Gears and the eventual replacement when one of the 2 underperforms).Sony was never about one single game. Variety was always the keyword.

2970d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

im not sure i fully agree with this. i tend to watch the first 2-3 episodes of SP games i'm on the fence about. If i like them i buy them and if i dont...well. i dont think people generally make a habit of watching full playthrus...that would be incredibly boring

2975d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

publishers just need to smarten up and don't spend those many millions on marketing. that's what is making games expensive, not the development process per se.
