I preordered my Dreamcast and played the heck out of it...shame they pulled the plug. We still have the WiiU but it doesnt get much love anymore.
@Tommy....I bought it and played it like crazy..but it in all actuality was a horrible port of the game.
I don't think the game has failed, nor was it overhyped. It was exclusive to MS consoles and PC. Not withstanding the rumor numbers, it is a success. Its not a CoD or BF killer. Its just not. This is a new IP and it will never obtain the numbers that CoD and BF have..now. But come the next incarnation, whenever it releases, it will then be able to challenge them on solid ground.
well..there was ET and pacman for the Atari 2600...Im probably the only person to have completed ET for the Atari 2600 LOL
I would add Homefront to the list too.
I still enjoy the game. I also purchased the season pass for 25 bucks. I look forward to whatever they release be it paid or free content.
Though I agree it looks great..should be changed to an opinion piece.
Another article from this guy. I couldnt help but notice he put in the market symbol for MS and failed to put in Sony's. Why I ask?
Far as I am concerned its 5 months into each of the consoles launch. Both are doing quite well. Sony's machine is selling more and Sony should be commended. XBox One is doing well also, but not as well as Sony's machine. This is just another doom and gloom article.
I would add Homefront to this list too.
If all the rumors are true..This game has rush rush rush written all over it.
Upon reading many rumor articles, like this one and the PS version runs at 720p, one can only wonder if this game is being super rushed to come out in time for the movie tie in. I dont buy movie games to begin with, but all other rumor articles point to lets rush it out so its on at least one platform with the higher install base. This has flop written all of it.
I am happy for Microsoft.
I really loved the explanation they gave at their conference. Hopefully the X1 will benefit from this middleware and tiled resources.
The article is kinda confusing. They have not worked with it so how can they comment on it?
I've been playing the game and aside from minor annoyances, its quite fun with my 2 sons playing with me. Polygon does bring up good points...I think the size of the room has very much a lot of issues with the Kinect. There is a small amount every once in a while with lagginess... Other than the minor annoyance with the game, it still a blast to play with more than people just online as with CoD, BF or TF.
I loved the Ultimate warrior when I watched pro wrestling. But when he left..no one knew the real reason. It was Vince, it was Hogan..it was this guy..that guy...then watching his youtube rants...guy was seriously bitter over something.
Author states:
He later added that development run MSAA and FXAA anti-aliasing at the same time on PS4 along with some other advance graphic options such as real-time lighting and complex particles and post-processing effects, and PS4 didn't even break a sweat.
Dev statement:
"When you look at spec sheets, you can always find a weakness, but the truth is that both the PS4 and XB1 are very powerful gaming machines. We did some insane thing...
I knew it...just a matter of time...Though the article tends to give other scenarios of why these things are happening..it boils down to Doom and Gloom for PS4 today..Tomorrow..X1's turn
It looked like he was catching up in the end. But like always in any game...we have glitchers. Hope they patch it soon.
Well, they hinted that it did indeed run the actual windows 8 OS, but never really explained it in detail. Now here is the proof that it indeed does. Lets see how this pans out with DX12 and hardware tiled resources. E3 should bring new light to this with the games that utilize it.
