#1. the reasons are BS. If anything it'll make MS stay with the 360 longer. abandoning the console in 2 years in my eyes admits failure and I don't think anyone will support the product not even investors.

#2. this is nothing but igniter fluid for a flamewar as we can already see.

#3. this site is located in Australia a country that has openly admitted it's pro sony.

microsoft has hit a few bumps with the 360, vista, and iptv. If anything they'l...

Little big planet is groundbreaking no one can deny, and I truly hope this game lives up to my lofty expectations alone. I just hope Sony markets this game as a true flagship title to really get it out in the open for the casual gamer to see as well.

I never made any comparisons between viva pinata and lbp except to only say that the casual gamer may not jump on this game as a avid gamer such as you or myself would. I know this is hard to believe but since I've been on this site I have never recalled trolling or being labeled a troll so I take offense to that. (if that statement was directed towards me) I'm here to talk gaming intelligently and openly....

They do make some good points, but c'mon 2 years ago Microsoft was crucified for not have 100% compatibility, and this was actually one of the selling points Sony tried to use at their E3 2005 press conference. So it's okay for Sony but bad for Microsoft? What's good for the goose is good for gander i say.

games until the year they come out. They stated this at this years E3 at least Shane Kim did in his interview with GameInformer; they will focus on whats coming out in that year. which is a good thing for gamers no need to get hyped up on something that's 2 years away 10 to 11 months is better barring any delays. A lot of fanboys are saying all the games are for ps3 next year. I'll admit they have a stellar line up for next year, but Msoft is focused on 07. Come January we'll see what's ...

viva pinata is more or less harvest moon in 1st person, but it's still a very compelling game, just like lbp, but I'm talking from strictly a casual perspective, and the average casual gamer is not gonna do the research or follow a game like lbp like you or I would. They are only looking at the surface, and on the surface it has a very kiddy look and kiddy type appeal to it. by the way thanks for disagreeing and debating in a non fanboy way. that's rare on this site.

A lot of people wanna down Msoft for putting halo 3 out in September that was in my mind a good faith gesture to 3rd party dev's we'll move our juggernaught out of the way so guys like vavle, infinity ward, bioware, and other devs can reap the rewards of this install base. Think about it how many hardcore gamers are gonna be done with halo 3 4 or 5 times by november/december they'll be jumping on orange box, cod4, mass effect, naruto, assassins creed, etc,. Right now if you wanna make money...

what Viva Pinata was to 360. A good game that is deep and compelling, but looks to kiddie to really generate any real push on the console. I'll be playing LBP, but hey I played Viva Pinata too.

This was a pretty decent forum untill you came in Gaylo this and Gaylo that. Your a moron. Yes the guy who wrote this article is focusing on a certain aspect of the PS3, personally I feel it was not timing it was consistency. The one thing you could always count on from Sony was consistency. When the original xbox came about I applauded Sony they did not waiver, they did not trash talk xbox, their actions spoke louder than words, Yes the xbox was more powerful, but devs knew how to use th...

yes a lot of programs are not compatible with Linux, only because it's not mainstream and companies won't make a lot of money of off it, I use ubuntu on my pc and absolutly love it. Especially the program open office which you can use with windows; a great alternative to the over priced MS office, and open office works with all of MS file types (hint, hint) All in all with the help of Dell I think Linux will become more mainstream and you'll start to see more and more programs compatible wit...

N,Gai has some pretty good ideas, but this guy looks to find the negative in everything that is not the playstation brand. From G4 to Gametrailers, I've never seen this guy compliment Microsoft at all, and every compliment he gives Nintendo is backed by a criticism. I like Playstation as much as the next guy, but I see good and bad in all 3, not just 1 or 2....

At the end of the day, what does it benefit you as a individual if one console wins or loses. Are you getting some type of compensation from Sony or Microsoft for joining their sides???? "It's FLAME time"!!!!

What the hell does microsoft have to do with this? I know your not gonna speak on this like some kind of conspiracy theory against Sony? Epic is the one the most well respected, honest, and truly independent dev's out there just like blizzard, and valve. They answer to no one and support all. I'm sure they have a explanation as to why they had to delay the game.

before you go off on the guy, understand his rant is intended to be focused around PSN, and I agree with him, there are a lot of things Sony could do to combat Msoft more in the on line contend department, but what we as consumers need to understand is that both companies are using their trojan horses. I don't care how blind a fanboy you are, We all know Sony is using the ps3 for the sole purpose of making Blu ray successful. Msoft is using the 360 to make digital distribution successful. ...

now this crap is getting out of hand. 3d0 and ps3 aren't even in the same gaming era. This is foolish and I urge every gamer on this site to not get caught up in this mess...

they prove me wrong. Simple truths. Halo3 was hyped to much. I remember when another game was hyped this much; the dreaded halo killer "Killzone" for the ps2. We see how that turned out. Two cases where hype hurt. Microsoft has deep pockets and the xbox division is a part of their future they are not going anywhere. Sony is not going anywhere, even the open ocean strategy of Nintendo is not going anywhere. Whether you like H3 or HS, the common ground is you like video games....

man make the choice that's right for you. I personally own a wii which I barely touch (waiting on mario galaxy, and smash) I will get a ps3 for uncharted, and little big planet. But for right now I'm loving my 360. halo 3 and gears of war right now. mass effect, cod 4, assassins creed, conan, and puzzle quest on xbl all this year! All 3 consoles have something to offer. Make sure you make the choice for you though.

and it's brand new checked the serial and manufacture date. I runs super quite too. It runs just as quite as my wii. I'll still be getting a ps3 by Jan though.

This is not the sega nintendo era. Japan is not needed to be successful. Pull out of Japan, focus on on the other regions. Japans lost I say.
