the one that seems to matter. Market Share. Sales. Support. The Wii is on a level the other two want to attain. They went a different route. I'm not a Wii fan, just a gamer.
I'm pretty sure just adding HD to the console won't be considered a "new" Wii. Just the latest version. Kind of like a DS/PSP approach. The PSP 3000 didn't start the head count over for sold PSPs over. But I'm not too sure how Nintendo is going to go about the Wii-HD. Will new games be unplayable on regular Wii's?
you look at it, the Wii is a beast. Its not the console for me, but damn if the kiddies and parents love it. Nobody could have told me a couple years ago that it would be selling faster than the PS3 and 360 without me laughing at them. At least the Sony and MS are "saying" they will be sticking with their consoles for as long as they can. Last gen MS and Nintendo dropped their 2nd and 3rd place consoles like a bad habit.
I don't know why but the first one made me crack out. I was hoping to see this sooner.
I'd be surprised if this game worked out. But at the same time I wish it would.

Who cares what freaking Maxim scores a game? I bet Oprah gave it a 9/10. Would you listen to her? Maxim is Playboy Lite. Not GI/Gamepro/Play/ ect. I wouldn't count them in on a dependable score reference. Plus it clearly looks like this game will be a keeper good review or bad.
It was one of those titles that screamed to be bought on Blu-Ray. And one of the better ones out there to boot. Worth every penny.
I want more places to get gear/games/movies not less. At the same time this place lost my $$$ from me when they fired people then said they would hire them back for less pay. I get that they were going down but it was pretty shrewd way of doing things to me. Another case of a poorly poorly run business going down.
But in the end I think will vindicate the PS3 and Sony. Even if they don't end up where they would like in the race. Getting a new optical format off the ground was a pretty impressive accomplishment to me.

I love movies. Since I went to Blu I can't for the life of me buy a regular ass dvd anymore. I wish I could. I'd save some money, but at the same time I look at it like this: Buy 2 disc Dark Knight for $22 or the Blu-Ray for $26? Believe me, maybe the best $4 I ever spent.
I'm sure sales would drop off the map if the 360 had a BD drive. I think its not required on the 360 as of now but I'd bet people sure as hell wouldn't have a huge problem if it did come standard.
That are insecure of their console choice are the annoying ones. If you like the system you own sooooooo much than why would you give a flipity fluck about what Joe Blow purchased. Do people all want to be homogenized gamers? One system? Hell no.
Sony should put out more than one commercial for the game. Advertising will make a Great game a "must have".

Not sure if they mean it literally. Halo set the bar high for a FPS. A game that sets it higher (and another will) will be the "Halo Killer". Nothing stays forever. Who knows. I personally can't wait for a "Halo Killer" cuz it should be one hell of a game.
Whats a failure? A console that fails to sell and is not supported. The 360 seems to sell and is as of now highly supported. Same as the other 2 systems. We are very lucky gamers. Bring on a new Sega.
