They weren't arrogant, Kutaragi was telling the truth about PS3 being a better console and the cell + BR delivering better games
On the other hand "the console for the hardcore fan", "Only on X360", "We have the best games", "Metacritic", "Best graphics", "Forza is the best racing game, better than GT5", etc...can't even be called arrogant comments but rather lies.
I wouldn't say they care more as if that was the case they would give PS3 for free :D
But I do think, and it's a fact, that SONY is more professional and has more resources than Micorsoft's GAME DIVISION delivering a gaming experience as an international company.
The best games on the PS3 are 1st party studios and SONY has high standards regarding localization for 1st party games so lots of games are localized even to small languages like Swed...
It will probably cost 59 EURO in Europe+Scandinavia and 59 US dollars in North america...hope so! becaus I'm gettting 3 controllers at launch.
The shooting mechanics in Haze were pretty good, aside from the story and crapy dialog ("remember your promise to Merido" X 1000 times) the positive from that game for me was that FR had developed his shooting engine for the next gen, like I said, weapons felt great and there's no way it can be worst FPS ever as shooting mechanics is what FPS is about...however, in general, an average game....and now we know what happened to FR so the only positive thing I thought that game had ...

It wouldn't be a problem if that proprietary cable was the only way to get out the audio via optical...how convenient isn't? 50 EURO extra if you need the optical for your setup.
PS3 shipped from day one HMDI and Optical output just lika upgradable HDD, that's the real value. I got the cables I needed (HDMI+Optical for audio) for 15 EURO.

Well it's not like Crysis developers or Turn 10 talking about other people's games...he's behind those so maybe that's the best reference you can get about the game...the other is still X360 exclusive so I don't think he would make a comment like that about a franchise that gives them big bucks on the X360 if it weren't true.
C'mon it's not like they are starting development of the game now, in that case the ones getting the "less good" version are X360 owners and they are the only ones entitled to dislike and express their opintion if SE all of the sudden goes multiplatform to squeeze more money from them via en inferior port.
I'm looking forward to Versus due to the different gameplay and more mature story (on the paper) than FF XIII...the PS3 I purchased for MGS4 has pay...

Not surprised at all, since MGS4 PS3 left behind the other consoles regarding graphics...the funny thing is that before that graphics was what X360 was all about...after MGS4 X360 switched to Party chat
PS3 owners enjoy of a real investment...you purchased a gaming console and that's what you got
I don't think the problem is the average Joe selling its game on ebay but the big retailers that reach the mass market doing it...they don't loose any money on it, they buy them in for a cheap price and turn it into profit, easily the rate could be is 1 (Avg Joe selling on ebay) to 100 (retailers) worldwide.
Imagine if theatres repurchased your tickets and re-sold them...100% of that profit would go to theatres as the ticket originally sold already payed its percent...

what I don't get is how people can tell the setting of the game based on just one screenshot?
Why can't it start in Helghan and then continue in earth?...that's one of the things I hated about Halo 2...Earth was the promised setting and you ended up somewhere else anywhere
This just let's clear what the price of dedicated costs for publishers at launch, DLC keeps the servers rolling.
My thought has always been that games should cost 10-15 bucks cheaper for those only interested in SP and mostly for those with XBL silver, they have always payed for the multiplayer component without even having the right to use it
The online component should ship in the disc but unlocks, like that, via a ticket you can buy on the PS Store...
a REAL live demo would be better
