I was wondering if you could have Adult content in Project Spark games.. I guess you can! All my Spark games so far have been pretty clean, although some have some pretty Lynchonian ideas haha. But if I am going to make a Conker game you can bet it will have lots of cussing :D

DX12 is different though. It runs on almost all older GPU's. Other DX iterations had hardware API's that forced slow adoption. I guess you could say they learned their lesson : )
They are working on mod tools too. Probably best to get Witcher 3 on PC.

I was really bad at the beta. I am just not good at multiplayer fps's. I want to be too damn it haha. I cannot wait for the campaign though.
And to me it felt nothing like COD, Destiny, Battlefield etc. It still felt like Halo, which is both a good and a bad thing. Good in that Halo plays in a unique way but bad in that I am so used to the mechanics of COD style games.
Hopefully they will have most of the issues fixed. 5 more days. I can't wait.
Ori is published Microsoft Game Studios. It started out as an Indie but it ended up having a publisher with pretty deep pockets. The credits at the end match some summer movies : ).
But I do agree that a lot of the great ideas out there are coming from Indie studios.
If Ori had been released last year it would have been my GOTY. So far it is my frontrunner for 2015. A very special game. I would argue that it is possibly the greatest 2d platformer I have ever played.
Very interested, wonder if the 10 hour battery life is accurate. At that price definitely waiting for reviews.

I guess the questions should be, what do game developers gain by praising coding API's. Consumers don't care how games are made or the utilities in the background that make them run, they just care about the end result.
I think developers will be happy to let the games made with DX12 do the talking.
Trying to think of what games will be coming in 2016 on Microsoft's side. Thinking Gears of War and Crackdown might both be 2016 titles. Gears, Crackdown and Quantum Break would be a pretty nice First Party lineup.

Good read! So excited about the new Unity3d model especially. The free version for 4 was limited in ways that kept getting in the way, but the new model basically gives you everything for free. At least until they make you rich, then they want a cut. But I will be rich so that is ok haha.
