He is a fun boss, but the First Hunter is the boss I will always remember. That music, those combos, the intensity... damn, greatest boss fight maybe ever.
ah man : (
In honor of Bubbles I offer you some words of wisdom from Bubbles : )
"If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, you own it. If it doesn't, you don't own it. And You're an ***hole."
Seems like such an awesome idea to mix Fruit Ninja and motion controls, but the controls just aren't precise enough for this game.
I wish they were, when it works it is fun but it doesn't work often enough to just make it frustrating.
Sorry, too many ads and slow loading pages. I can't make it through the slides. However, I hope Fable 2 is on there. Since they remastered it for PC it should be very easy to port over as well. I loved that game.
I agree with it being one of the best games ever. I loved it. Was just pointing out that I didn't think users would get frustrated over the difficulty, just that dying a lot means they would get frustrated over the loading. If you don't die a lot it is a non issue but for more casual gamers that isn't most likely going to be the case. They may end up staring at a black screen more than playing haha.
Just a suggestion but you might want to rethink your strategy @thekhurg. Not only does your method sound frustrating but I don't think you will be able to finish the game using it.
All the bosses have patterns and you can trigger them using different strategies. Blood Starve Beast might be one of the few you can beat spamming since he doesn't have much health but there are much better and more fun strategies for him. In fact he is one boss you could technically beat w...
Halo's cutscenes are so epic, I really want them to make a cgi movie and not Live Action. And if they do a cgi movie, just keep the same voice actors as the game. They are perfect as is : )
I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone could spam any button in Bloodborne and be successful. Gameplay is all about timing, rhythm and patterns.
You have to wait for the animations to end before doing another move so it literally makes no sense to spam.
@thekhurk: I am trying to think of a boss this work or be necessary for but i am coming up blank. Some of the smaller bosses have three to four hit combos but they have patterns to them, so you need...
Can't wait for all of these! Especially Quantum Break but it is coming in 2016.
@StillGray: Haha, yeah. If Fallout 4 is announced for this year it is the new #1 on my list for all genres coming out : )
I don't think it is the difficulty that makes it frustrating. The gameplay is fun, so doing things over isn't really frustrating. However, the load times make dying frustrating, but mostly because they are keeping you from the gameplay.
You would think that all the game assets are already in memory so load times would be instant. Hard to understand why they would have to reload all the textures when you die.
Regardless though, gameplay isn't too d...
Interesting opinion, but I found spamming any button in Bloodborne would lead to bad things since the combat is all based on timing. If you start an animation attack or dodge too soon you are setting yourself up to be killed pretty easily. Also if you are in the middle of an animation and spam the button it will most likely start a move you do not want to do and again set you up to die.
My style of playing was to only use the dodge button to dodge certain attacks and then cou...
They are opening up the API for Xbox Live very soon so I expect this game and many others to have cross play by the end of the year. Would be pretty awesome for this game in particular.
Very strong exclusive lineup with Halo, Forza and Tombraider. Hope they all turn out great!
I really enjoy Titanfall already but I do agree, it has such awesome gameplay. Would especially be cool if they did coop raids like Destiny.
I really liked the characters. Especially the D&D guys and the cheerleaders. To me the game really starts at the D&D section. So fun.
Interesting list but definitely not my experience. I agree with the last one though, he was so hard. I loved that battle. It felt like a dance. That fight is just so rhythmic with the circling and dodging. At least for the first two phases. I still don't think I understand his patterns on that last phase. Almost wish I hadn't beaten him just so I could try to understand that last phase better and what triggers what.
In my opinion all the bosses are harder than those two. There were only four bosses that really frustrated me though. The final boss in particular. Although luckily it is also the most fun of the bosses.
"If this is your first time with a From Software game, enjoy it – because you’ll never get this feeling back again."
Nooo, I want that feeling again! But I do agree, it was such a great sense of accomplishment.
I am pretty happy with the features at this point, just want to see some performance tweaks and bug fixes. My controller disconnects sometimes during a game, and I bought a new one thinking it was the controller but I still have the same trouble. And for multiplayer games it can really be frustrating haha. So that is my primary request is to fix that issue.
