I loved Last of Us as an entertainment experience, but not a deep enough gameplay experience to be in the ranks of Fallout 3, Skyrim etc. That is just my personal feeling though, I like games that are focused more on gameplay than telling stories.
As long as Fallout 3 and Skyrim are at the top : )
I can't wait to try this. Will be my first Dark Souls game. Not sure why I have put them off so long. But that ends now haha. I hope it plays somewhat similar to Bloodborne since I am finally pretty decent at that game : )
They taught me that I would be much tougher with unlimited ammo.. those glitchers!
I kind of forgot it ever existed haha. Cool concept I think though. Maybe it would be a cool thing for Virtual Reality later.
Good article! And I agree, they did not get it wrong. And I finally beat it, yay : )
It gets easier for a while.. But it doesn't stay that way. The latter parts of the game are brutal. Just spent 6+ hours on the last boss and still haven't beaten him. I beat Cleric on my first try. So definitely not easier lol.
It is kind of neat that the internet lets bad writers pretend to have a job.
Exactly haha. Not worried about duplication bugs, I am not going to use them anyhow. Fix the loading times!
This is true of books and movies though too. Birdman was universally praised by critics, but most viewers didn't like it or understand it. Finnegans Wake is considered a masterwork but you will be hard pressed to find many people that ever finished reading it and anyone that can explain it. Accessibility isn't how art is judged, nor should it be.
Cannot beat the nurse : (. Always gets me at around 25% health left.
Yeah, the cheating part doesn't seem very legit. I would consider it a glitch run. I have over 80 hours in and he was a higher level than me lol.
Why buy these, internet has all the info in a much easier format to locate what you are looking for. Plus free : )
Gonna try some classical Mozart with Bloodborne! Yeah.
Still playing 1 or 2 days a week. Which is perfect for right now, so many other games to play and catch up on.
Nice! Anyone know what I am supposed to do at the College? I opened the door but the guy just mumbles. Am I done here? Or missing something
Edit: nevermind.. that was awesome haha.
I will always remember the first time I got that Gravity Gun!! One of the greatest experiences in gaming history. Awesome, awesome game regardless of the different graphic modes : )
True. Technically the game is a mess. Frame rate issues, bad loading times, very bad physics, camera issues, bugs with enemy attacks and damage. You will die many times because of game issues, which is a problem.
However, I can still understand the high scores. It is such an immersive and addictive experience. No way I could give it a 10 like many sites, but I do think the 9's are legit.
@Spinal: It has many minor issues and some major issues, which is w...
So far I have fought them all the same, but I am only just past Amelia. I stay at a distance just close enough to keep their attention but also far enough to dodge back. After an attack I jump in and hit them once and jump back haha. Works like a charm so far.
Don't get me wrong I liked Last of Us, I mean I loved it. But by not deep gameplay, I mean we didn't really have any control in the game and how it played out. We were on a preset ride. No actions we did had a lasting effect on the game world and the characters. There is one scene at the very end that I thought might change things, but it didn't. Reason I love games like Fallout and Skyrim is that it feels more like my game and my story. The things I do matter and I can find ways ...
