Your 1 bubble opinion is terrible.
Nate hates clowns.
Why are they all over Uncharted 3 for this when there are other games doing this as well.
Most people that like the series are planning on buying the game new anyway, so non of us have to pay anything at all for an online pass.
I love how suddenly people and journalists make it sound as if the majority of fans will buy the game used and that the online pass is some sort of subscription you have to keep paying. /s

@DA_SHREDDER ...
It must be pretty important to some. It's not like it'll change someone's decision to buy a game. People will figure it out when they put the disc in.
We might be seeing this for bigger/major titles more than for smaller titles.
What else do you want them to say? It's a business.
Naughty Dog didn't decide on this, it was Sony, the publisher.
Online passes are something more publishers are/will be starting to do which applies(in most part) only to used games.
____
I do agree that doing it for offline content, like in Batman:AC is completely stupid.
Paying for online passes only apply to those who buy the game used, not new.
Sony pays Naughty Dog to make the game, BUT the publisher and retailer get most of that $60.
Buy the game new(as the huge fan you are) and you won't have to pay the one-time fee.
Unless you're planning on buying Uncharted 3 USED, then you don't have to worry about this one-time fee/pass.
Besides, like most people, I'm buying this new. So no worries about paying for anything for me.
At least they're NOT charging subscription payments to play online, cause that'd be ridiculous, right? lol
It's online play is STILL FREE.
Why don't we just let our games do the talking?

Anyway, as I recall, he said the PS3 had MORE peak power/performance than 360. BUT it is harder to utilize.
Have any of you fanboys even seen RAGE on PS3?
Both versions are virtually identical. So I don't see why people are getting riled up when the 360 version is really no better:...
First, people complained that the blindfire was useless. And now they complain that it's useful.
You can't just nerf everything to your liking.
I found people, including myself, liking the current "Beta" build better than the summer Beta. It's got a more fun feel to me. I find myself sprinting a lot more.
Honestly, they're practically the same damn thing. Don't know what people are bitching about. All weapons are not gonna work to everyone's liking. Some say they're better, some say they're worse. It comes down to player preference.
If OnLive goes down, you lose access to your games. You can't sell, trade or share them. No chance of getting cheaper copies(new or used). Nothing.
I prefer physical copies, thank you.
Besides, it seems like the guy was talking about their own unique exclusive content, not precisely PS3/360 exclusives.
- "Every beta I have been in this gen has had issues"
Umm that's what they're for, devs and gamers find and address these issues for a smoother experience on the final game (Gold).
A reviewer's opinion is no better than any other experienced gamer and numbered scores are never clear.
Plus, I don't want to run into any spoilers!
Seemed like a convenient twist to a mediocre game to make another mediocre game.
Because I'm a Batman fan and could care less for Spider Man.
I've played them myself and was able to form my own opinion. We all have different tastes, therefore review score don't dictate whether you'll truly enjoy a game or not.
Cherry-picked comparisons and using Standard cars? How low can GameTrailers get? Again!
Superior and realistic lighting.

LOL
Seriously though, they're not even on the same systems. Pointless competition.
