LOL, you serious?
If so, I don't think you understand what I mean by "different".
I'm talking about each game treating you to a DIFFERENT adventure, each with a unique story, noticeably improved gameplay mechanics, character progression, completely DIFFERENT locales from one game to the next (and within each game).
They gave Super Street Fighter 4 a 10/10.
Besides, Uncharted is NEVER just "more of the same".
Each game treats you to a DIFFERENT adventure, each with a unique story, character progression, completely DIFFERENT locales from one game to the next(and within each game).
Why does Eurogamer act like they've never played a linear game before?
There I said it.
It's like no good linear games ever existed before Uncharted came around.
There's nothing wrong with linearity. It just has to be done right.
And Uncharted is an exemplary linear game.
Uncharted is never "more of the same".
Every game treats you to a completely different adventure. Completely different and varied locals.
But the thing is, I'd have to spend some cash upgrading my PC or just buy a new one altogether to be able to run some(most) of those games smoothly in the first place.
Oops, double post.
Also, the speed run was done by a tester, who after multiple hours of playing through the game numerous times, managed a speed run of 3 hours on Easy mode.
I liked Lazarevic's character. Easily quotable at times.
But the final boss fight itself I didn't like that much either.
Other than that, I didn't find the rest of them to be disappointing. Mainly because I considered(guardians) to be nothing more than mini-boss-like moments because they blended in so seamlessly with the rest of the game, subsequently not expecting anything more... special.
Then you must have never owned many games from previous generations, because the majority of them were linear. It's nothing new.
Single-Player/Story mode is more like it. And yes. That's the main reason I'm buying the game.
It's the third game in the series and some people act surprised.
It's like they've never played or known of a linear game before the Uncharted games were around. It hasn't stopped any game, including Uncharted, from being great.
@-Alpha,
I agree that no game is perfect, but these are hardly "flaws".
Reviewers play a game only once before writing about it.
Testers hired to play/test the game, play through it multiple times, over and over. That's what they're for.
I'm assuming he didn't hunt for any treasures/relics.
Possibly played using the "Fast Motion" and "Infinite Ammo" cheats.
And skipped all story elements.
Impossible on first playthrough.
Naughty Dog stated that it's just as long as Uncharted 2. I can see myself easily spending 13 hours or so on my first playthrough.
They compared images from Alpha and Beta builds of all 3 games including multiplayer maps and character models. All mixed up.

Maybe if you didn't have your head so far up your 360's ass, you'd realize that UC2 also had a jungle and that UC1 doesn't have nearly as much world detail or the much improved lighting of UC2/3.
Don't be jelly ;)
I didn't get a Star Wars vibe from Mass Effect. I thought it was a bit more Star Trek-like. Nor did Uncharted remind me of Indiana Jones.
There's no way you could play through Uncharted 2 and think "Oh, it reminds me of Indiana Jones".
Sorry, I don't recall GOW being tarnished or ruined for anyone. And I don't think this will affect Uncharted either.
IMO.
Lol, wishful thinking. You scared?
It's not about lag. It's about the fact that you never physically own your games with OnLive.
If the servers go down or the service flops, you lose all your games.
You can't share, trade, sell or buy cheaper copies because you're at their mercy.
Remote Play has nothing to do with this. You can play a game that you actually own on your PS Vita.
Completely different and irrelevant to the topic.
Good info.
Also, LOL at the end.
