The only problem with it being so user friendly is there are no games to use it with. I have had game pass for a year and still don’t turn my Xbox on. I wish they would give me a reason to honestly, I look at it with sadness as I turn on my PlayStation.
Most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. Just cut out a multi million console install base because they are mad? Money talks every time. BS
The lock picking issues depend on when you played. Early versions were obtuse, completely unforgiving, and super hard. I played through again within the last month after beating it two years ago, and the lock picking is now dead easy. In fact it went from me having the same feelings as you into being one of my favorite activities.
Nope. Don’t want that. I’ve got enough real world problems. Thanks though.
This isn’t supposed to be an opinion piece. It’s a review, which theoretically should be unbiased. They never are.
Here’s hoping that a sequel just doesn’t happen.
That’s a weird reason to play what you yourself said to be the inferior game.
It’s not for everyone because it’s not for me. Doubt my wife cares either.
Yeah you need to continue the story before you proclaim they show America as the good guys.
Have you played it yet? Ive played every campaign since the original in 2000. This is definitely one of the better campaigns. I would take this review and throw it out the window and try for yourself. I agree there may be no ringer of a level, but the whole body of work is much better than it has been in years.
I went ahead and got this game, and three hours in and there’s nothing happening. It’s just the same three starting characters mining and trying to plant rice before it eventually gets blight and I have to cut it all down. I’m clearly missing something. And research takes forever. Three hours of one colonist dedicated solely to research and it’s maybe 13% done
@Kurisu
FFXI and FFXIV are the very definition of open world.
I just picked up a series x to put next to my ps5. Now that it’s been about 2 weeks, they each have their own niche. Series x is really good for just playing a bunch of old games you can now play for *free* again on game pass, plus a couple exclusives that are passable. There are some good ones there, you just have to look. Meanwhile, ps5 can live off its exclusives for ages it seems like. Overall, the series x has captured some of my game time (mostly by playing games that come out on game p...
Bruhh… you go do it then if it is that easy.
@Knightofelemia
You can still play it on iOS. Not sure about android.
P4G is on pc if that makes your day better.
It’s not always about the farming. For me it’s all about creating an unstoppable farming empire, in which there is plenty of micro management. Kind of a to each their own thing.
If anyone would read anything beyond these articles, they would know there has been outside sources (the Wall Street journal and the California department of fair employment and housing) have conducted investigations that determined that not only did Kotick know about all the abuse crap, but often helped to protect employees who were accused of all the abuse crap. So there is at the least SOME evidence.
I still much prefer single player experiences. However, with myself purchasing every years iteration since 2013, I think the single player becomes less and less appealing over time, given the nature of the type of game it is. They can update it, but it’s essentially unchanged for several years now. It’s the competitive (most of the time) feeling of online play that keeps the developers leaning into it all. Or I could be totally wrong, but that’s life.
