true, but the playstation division has to be a profitable one. if the higher ups feel that the PS brand is stagnating there will be shakeups within the executive ranks to make it more a viable product.

in all seriousness i doubt activision is truly thinking about this course of action, but making these statements public shows that they are not happy with the current pricing.
it just shows how a publisher can get too big, demanding price reductions despite the overpriced plastic junk they regurgitate every year.

the lack of ram will effect the texture resolution. you can have all the processors in the world but they don't hold data.this is why its possible to change the texture detail in PC games from low,mid to high depending on how much ram the graphics card has.

from what i gathered the single player campaign is on one disc while the multiplayer is on the second. i personally like this route, it frees up space for both modes. I hope more devs/publishers do this, but MS's disc royalty fee will prevent them from doing so.
one of the few games i purchased on XBLA, i can't believe i missed it for so long on PC. go get it!

not all PS3 owners are exclusive whores you know, two of my buddies have nothing but multiplats except for heavenly sword. i even told them to go out and buy LBP, MGS4, and KZ2 but i guess that's just not their thing. multiplats sell a lot more consoles than you think

you can probably add publisher ignorance to this, it wasn't until recently that MS expressed a desire to continue the crackdown franchise.
also, things like dual voice tracks on jrpgs. people have been asking for this feature for years and in a recent interview with SE, the interviewer asked this and he replied "do people want this?"
there are lots of examples like this...like some of the choices Epic made for the returning maps in gears2. i was amazed cloc...
and you'll need to upgrade your TV to 120Hz or 240Hz, these TV's are currently out now but are fairly new to the market. anyone thinking about getting a newer TV soon i would suggest picking one of these types. double the refresh rate of standard HD tv's? sounds good, but it will have to wait because i already got a nice LCD last year.
