because they have nothing better to do with their time, they act as if live is totally down and we cant log-in. its sad really...
why go through the effort of porting this to 360 when everyone knows all we want is The Old Republic? or even WoW?
@1.1 I don't think they will lower the price, i remember an interview with major nelson saying they don't plan on lowering the price but instead they will keep a adding to the value of gold subscription.
"Ask yourself what does XBL live do for actual GAMING? It does almost nothing. Chat is great, a friends list is great! Even though the PC does it for free and does it better but whatever"
more than you obviously realize, who the fuc& knew or cared about PC chat capabilities? unless you're a fuc&in lanparty warrior. this easy way of connection and communication paved the way for online gaming for consoles. COD without XBL? good luck selling over a few million
i hope so. oh well, guess I'm sticking with windows 3.1
@1.4 "That would make Natal virtually useless. I mean, why buy an add-on for your current console when a new one is coming in less than a year?"
if this happens MS might be looking into a dual system approach, the 360/Natal for the casual crowd and a new forward compatible system for the hardcore crowd.
don't worry about it, the fanboys love to hate, i have mostly lag free matches too and matchmaking doesn't take longer than 3mins at most.
There are underlying issues with "host selection" for example people with sh*t ISP's who start parties and host. i have noticed anyone hosting from mexico gives me the crap lag everyone talks about.
I always wanted epic to change back to server lists like gears1, at least we could see what the connection was like before ...
umm lol...
yeah because just like on the job site having too many tools to work with will hinder how much you can get done...
updates are a good thing, whats the deal? damn, some games are released, get one update to fix a few problems and are left to rot. I love how epic continues to improve this game, keep the updates rolling i say. one minor gripe tho, wtf is up with all the horde achievements?
not sure if you have seen this yet but after seeing the artwork i almost puked...

i was expecting that kind of announcement at E3. but they might just keep the awful prices but up the size of HDD's. 120gb to phase out the 60gb, and a 250gb to take the 120gb's place
wow 50% don't have an HDD? i find that percentage absurd. out of the 85 people on my friends list none of them have a tard setup. I can see people who are just getting into 360 being in this situation but no way is it half the userbase.
trophies/achievements are a really good idea, it adds more levels of completion possible for every game. Like GTA4 and crackdown, after the story was completed I probably wouldn't have kept playing if those achievements did not exist.
But if you find yourself picking up easy/sh*tty games just to boost that score, you might want to rethink your reason for playing games in the first place
I have also noticed that my gaming habits have changed since the introduction of...
@18 "Why would anyone buy something now when you are telling me that in mere months it will be dropping $100?"
agreed, in addition its summer, its not the really the best time to go out and pick up a game system when the sun is out. another thing that bothers me BC, they need to put it back in before i get a PS3, i have all my PS1/2 games sitting here on my shelf but the only way to play FF7 on a new PS3 is to buy it off PSN? no thanks
@2.2 "TBH, number of cars really doesn't have much to do with how good a racing game is"
i kinda agree with this, when i played GT1,2, and 4 i only used a small handful of cars. 800 cars is a good variety but when you don't even have the time to get into 700 of them its pointless
@1.2
i don't think the amount of people in your friends list matters that much as i have around 90 atm. if you watch some of the you-tube videos of the laggy guide its crazy how long it takes.
i think it might have to do with loading all of the friends you have online at that particular moment. I have noticed it getting slower but 5 seconds max, and it usually only happens with more than 25 friends signed in.
Ghostbusters was developed with PS3 as the lead platform, and ported to 360, at least thats what i gathered from this weeks fanboy wars.
this is a genuine treasure trove of xbl gamertags ripe for the picking
disappointingly I hear they are busy with Natal projects.
something tells me you don't have XBL, because you would know the difference between downtime and a few marketplace issues.
don't bother posting your gamertag if you do, nobody wants to befriend you anyway
