I don't buy a thing from them anymore. I just can't stand their buisiness practices & last time I visited their store the manager or whoever he was just spouted on about Gamestop. I guess they just trained him well but it's annoying when you would like to talk to a fellow gamer & he turns out to be some corporate mouthpiece.
I just don't step foot in there anymore.

I play PC first & consoles 2nd. It used to be the other way around until I built my own gaming PC last year.
I think consoles are in need of a controller overhaul.
It needs to be rethought & redesigned to be more ergonomic & just feel right in your hand/s.

I see where he's coming from as I too am somewhat disenchanted with FPSs atm. I still will play one but I am alot more careful & choosey. So much so, that I rarely buy one anymore.
Also, I came to a point where now I don't care about competitve multiplayer. I'd much rather have the focus on a killer single player campaign & great coop. Either combined coop through the campaign or seprate story coop campaign.
Agree, but Steam really needs to get their voice chat together. Why I can't select for friends voice to come through headset & not the speakers is beyond me.
I'm not into 3D but that is a nice TV regardless. Nice choice indeed.

I don't think it's that they care more about 360 as much as it is easier to work with.
That said, they have worked with PS3 before. I don't know how it turned out cause I played Oblivion on 360.
I know what you mean about choosing though. I go through the same process when I want a console game like when Red Dead was released. I had to do research to decide PS3 or 360.
It's a huge world not a corridor crawler.
I think it looks great on nearly 6 year old hardware.

What I'm going to do is buy the standard & get the Game of the Year edition down the road.
I have never played a Metal Gear game all the way through.
I haven't played much at all tbh. Played a little bit of MGS & MGS2 Substance. If I remember right the d pad is used quite a bit.
Is the d pad utilized alot in Metal Gear?
If so, it will help me determine which version to get.
