It's a little early to tell as we have no official response from Sony but it seems there is no improvement what so ever with this model. If your going to make it uglier, and cheaper looking, at least ad something to it. It's not even that much smaller.

Yeah the folders don't seem to have had much thought put into them. At least I am able to put all the stuff I don't use in a folder and push it to the end.

Sony didn't just "come along". They only worked with hello game to fund the production of the blu-Ray discs and pay for the distribution or the blu-Ray discs. NMS was going to be a digital only game. Somewhere in that clause Sony may have asked for timed exclusivity on consoles. It will come to Xbox the same way rocket league did.
That's gonna be funny when NMS comes to Xbox. Fanboys too blind to know this is not sonys game, nor is it exclusive to Sony, Just because it's on PS4 at the moment.

You don't care about box art or game cases. Once the next best thing comes you jump ship and don't look back.
nothing wrong with that but it's nice to have options so the people that want the digital library's are happy and the people who want physical tangible ownership of the product they bought can be happy too.
Sales tax must be extremely high where you live? I own a little of both. Some games I don't mind digital if I know they will have replay value for years to come.
I even have digital copies of some disc games when they pop up in flash sale for ten bucks. It's worth the convienance to me. I like having my physical collection and tangible ownership though.
Wether you install from disc or digital storefront the storage space gets used up at same rate. The biggest benefit for psychical copy though is if you have crappy Internet or low caps and you want to play a deleted game you can pop disc in and install it again without waiting to DL. Worst case you have to re download a few patches and not the entire game.
Background music streaming only? Why? You can plug a usb stick and play local mp3s via snap. Why not do the same for background. So disappointing.

@gordon the game is not exclusive. Sony's sole involvement with NMS is publishing and distributing the blu-Ray disc version of the game on PS4. Sony is not funding the game. They are just funding the production of the Disc's and the distribution channels. PC and PSN sales are pure Hello Games responsibility.
