And if you can wait 30 days I'm sure you can get it under $40 new.
I only saw 2 new cars?
Uncharted golden abyss says hi :)
Exactly, n4g acts like VR is the second coming or something. Trust me the 200 or so active fanboys on this site doesn't represent the mass. I'd rather take that money and upgrade my TV to 4K. If VR doesn't hit the sales like they want, what's to stop it going the way of the vita? You'll have spent 4-500$ on a peripheral that only junior indie developers make content for.
People will downvote you to hell but it's certainly possible. I've personally lived long enough to see 3d come and go 3 times.
I see it as a waste of money unless your already antisocial and need one more reason to isolate yourself from the real world.
I agree with your first part. I'm not paying that much for something I'd probably use a few times for a "wow" factor and then resort to playing traditionally.
I don't think PSVR was made for NEO at all. I'm sure some insiders at Sony learnt about what MS was cooking and then they decided to counter long before Scorpio was revealed/leaked.
There will be the hardcore that buy this thing day one. i have my own opinion on what I find appealin...
Yeah I missed out on the psplus version. Now I'm waiting for a good sale.
Yeah and that phone by today's standards could maybe...maybe run candy crush.
I knew this was gamingbolt from the title.
I have the same feeling. I never bought into added on peripherals. I believe it will have a wow factor at first but then after a few times it will sit aside. My fear is Sony going to push VR too much that there will be parts of games that require it or are exclusive to VR.
Like you I work 70hrs a week man, in my limited time I have to play games it's going to be relaxing on the couch usually socializing with friends on weekends. VR seems like a way to isolate yourself from anyon...
Isn't that the point of having exclusives? You have to buy the hardware to play the software? Just as much as people want to ridicule MS for "not having exclusives anymore" yet now they want Nintendo to not have exclusives. But I guess so long as the PS4 has exclusives it's ok.
These are same people that will make a big deal over one company having "true exclusives". I'm sure Nintendo knows the value in its exclusives and to use mobile as a gateway for people to buy their own products is a smarter move.
If they went 3rd party they would be sega by end of a decade.
Nintendo trying to bring back the casuals they lost after wii.
People of all ages are playing GO. Using mobile as a gateway for people to buy into their own products is maybe what they are hoping to achieve.
I bet a lot of people wish they had bought more shares before go launched.
Yeah it sucks. I'm hoping for NX to break that mold. However for Nintendo it's how they can still make a profit off abysmal sales like WiiU. A wii was a repackaged GameCube with motion controls and they were able to keep price cheap and still make profit.
Good for Nintendo but they really need to make NX a little more traditional enough so that 3rd parties can also run games on it as well. If not it'll be WiiU all over again. While Nintendo makes good games they just ta...
And to think they didn't make the game. They just said "ok, you can use our IP" boom...money in the bank. Geneius!
I hatched a 10k egg yesterday. It was a weedle.
Mine was in middle of an intersection in the middle of a city. Guess he was lost.
My wife wanted a 3ds after playing PGO. Went to 3 games tops in my area before we found one that had 1 left. Not even a used system in stock.
I guess before NBA you could say Driveclub?
But I agree, compared to PS3s ps plus games the last few years have been lackluster. I'm not implying games like resogun, gone home, rocket league, etc are bad, some I haven't even played yet. Just when you hear about an indie game that might be good, no need to buy it as it will be on ps+ soon enough.
Hell even the vita ps+ used to be better.
But I guess Sony is the leader at the mom...
