So it has a upgraded GPU that won't be used to render games in 4K. The guy is saying its equivalent to Xbox one s in the HDR and 4K streaming area. I think people overestimated what the NEO was going to be.
I'm not rushing out to buy a 4K tv anytime soon so I'm just going to stick to my OG consoles for now.
I'd rather have more details and effects than more resolution. I don't plan on buying a 4K tv for a long while yet.
Announcing you have twice the power but if it's Just going to be used to bump resolution to 4K then I'm not sold.

These fanboys need to realize MS and Xbox will not go away or fail in any sense from not having first party VR.
If I can't tell the resolution between X1 and ps4 I don't think playing in cinematic mode would bother me lol.
I still will wait and see more hands on of the PSVR when it launches before I buy one. Having a headset on playing isolated from my surroundings is just something I won't have much luxury even though I wish I did.

Definitely 3rd party or fake as hell. Highly unlikely that Sony would call an official "elite" controller after MS. I could see dualshock4 Pro or something like that more plausible.

Dude just play on man. You can rarely have an intelligent reply on N4G. I have both consoles and the delay of GT Sport has really just made me throw my hands up. Sure they made the decision for the right reasons but it's hard to get excited for sonys releases anymore.

I don't have a PC able to run this but I tried the beta on ps4 and X1. I played about 6 hours straight on both platforms and didn't run into anything like that. The ps4 had connection issues quite a bit and took way longer to load/matchmake but once in the game I had a blast with it.
It could have just been more people trying to play on ps4 than on Xbox though, I don't know I'm not a tech wizard haha.
I'm talking about up until the reboot. I know they took a year off having online mandatory made me not buy it. That and the no manual transmission option unless they patched that.
Yearly releases and the new always online killed it for me.

You really think Sony didn't know about MS new consoles until E3? Regardless I think Sony really capitalized on MS X1 reveal woes and gave them a hell of a lot of momentum into this gen. I don't think Xbox will ever be best selling console World wide but I think the sales gap would be much closer if the Xbox one we have today was same one that was revealed in 2013.

I don't consider myself a nay-sayer however the tech is still new and until PSVR, hasn't been easily accessible to the mass population. (Outside mobile phone sets) Sony seems to have been doing a great job with the unit and preorders continually sold out. I remain optimistic about VR as I'm not real sure if it kicks off and becomes wildly successful that Sony and developers will shift most focus to VR titles instead of traditional style gaming that I still enjoy.
I've been hearing this since the iPhone 5s. And IOS 7. I'll be keeping my 6s for as long as possible the iPhone 7 looks like a step back all the way around, they are just trying to sell you on why Shittier is better.
