As far as it means a better game for everyone I don´t care which platform each developer chooses as the lead...

Am I one of the few who likes this?
I mean, I really feel this is going in the right direction. I don´t quite geet those who claim that the game´s visuals are not nice. I really think they are capturing the spirit of SF going in that direction. Ok, it needs work, but those painted textures and the vivid colours realy take me back to the early 90s :D
I just hope they polish graphics, add some more detail but DON´T loose that "cartoony" fee...
As a matter of fact Meus Renaissance, makes quite a lot of sence to me. This is, if I´m not wrong, the second time Guerrilla (or Sony, for what it matters) has not been straight forward about a public display of visual preview of this game.
I am really tired of looking at screenshots that, in the end, don´t show what the game truly looks like. At least, if companies are to release a preview they should not state "this is real time graphics" ehwn showing a pre-rende...

Why not suit Guerrilla for that infamous KZ2 "realtime" trailer or COD4 not for being true HD... or so many other companies for same kind of things...
My way of seing things is: They could use some bashing. Specially the big giants, every now and then. They really deserve to learn some customer respect.
Anyways, I find "80 pixels" not really a major reason. Not at least among many others that, at least...
Said it when they where released on the last KZ2 article... those pics where retouched...
..And color corrected... what I liked most was the hue of them... go figure how they really looked.

Every company does it, why don´t they just show the game for what it is? Do they fear bad publicity? I think is far more agravating the fact that they make this so obvious that they end asuming they did it and end looking like liar...
Oh! and BTW as it can be clearly seen on the pic where ryu is taking the kick, looks like there is nice facial expression. The style, also, is faithful to capcoms bulky illustrations. Look at Ryu´s arm modeling and texturing, those are pure capcom classic muscles baby!!! in all it´s Joe Madureira Glory :P
Ok, still lacks work, I must admit it is a little far from a finished and polished look for a new gen game. But as far as it goes, the style is very very similar to that of the old SFII, which I loved back in the days. The color palette, the looks of the characters, the background (which reminds me so much of Chun Li´s :D) It´s got something of powerstone too... a hint of style
I really would like to see this more developed and polished.

I don´t mind having a new COD every year... Unless they begin reusing the same gameplay mechanics and graphics, adding features like modding your soldier, or pimp your gun, and star calling the games "Call of Duty: Pimp your soldier" or the kind...
Gotta love the looks of it. MAybe it´s not eye candy´s pradise... but character design is really nice. Really good characterizations (sorry if my english sucked at that specific word :P )
Next time arround, blow the box away, just to take revenge at it.
I would LOVE Sega to come back to the console "war". I also think the Dreamcast was a great machine, quite ahead for it´s time. And yes, really competitive from the go, much more than the PS2 which needed a long run to spread it´s wings.
All time Sega fan here I would love for that to happen. Maybe in a couple of years more... 12/12/12...11/11/11? Call it Dreamcast 2... Katana or whatever. It would be a MUST buy for me :)
Good thing Chavez´s constitutional referendum got ditched... the last thing the world need is another person warming the presidential chair for ages...

Well I hope they make two great games again. I know I should be happy, another COD! I just don´t like the feeling of rushing into the new version of the game... I like to wait for it a little longer...

don`t get me wrong, they make good titles here and there... but it mostly feels like:

The guy did not fancy the game that much... had a bad day at work (coffee machine was broken, his wife "had a headache" the night before).

Still a GREAT game.
Screenshots look just sweet. On par with the best looking games, I don´t see it as out of the chart. I like the desaturated palette with hints of saturated color here and there, nice effect. I think that is what mostly makes for the feel of something new and different, not much the poly count or fx. Yet, from my point of view, it seems as there is a little of post production on this stills...
MAn this game is looking sooooooo good.... I WILL get a PS3 somewhere in the near future.
I don´t get fanboys (of any side) who despice other consoles...
