My guess is some kid got to publish the first attempt at a game he did at a dev´s university...
An he got the lowest grade... for sure...
The game still looks great. I really think some textures there could use some work. But there are some months to the game release yet. Sure there have been more gorgeous looking pics... but which dev does´t do that? We have seen bullshots from every single exixting game out there.
Still impressive to me, specially in motion... Don´t forget it is a game, not a still shot´s competition, this will be moving at a pretty steady framerate and will go through lots af big ...
Oh yes!!! I still play my dreamcast and is by far the best console I owned to the day. There is simply nothing that compares to a Soul Calibur match... (ok, maybe a Genesis Royal Rumble is close, or a Rock n´ Roll racing... XD)
Msoft must have learned a GOOD lesson should they decide to join (or start) the following gen of consoles (which they more thn obviously will). Those are big numbers, no matter what your company revenues are. No one would look forward to have such a high cost over repairs because of an early-released or undertested/designed hardware AGAIN.
Hopefully, future releases should completely erase this ghost, and microsoft will have to build a nice advertising campaign in order to build ...
I must admit, being a south American resident (Argentina to be specific) That sometimes prohibitive prices in U$S or Euros (1 Dollar consting me 3 argentinean pesos and one euro going for about 5 pesos) lead me to make ilegal downloads. I do try to buy what I like most out of what I get to play/listen/use, because I think there is a nice added value in having an original game in it´s box, or a music cd/dvd with a nicely designed packaging... but the rest of the things, I remain a pirate ...
Man... what´s with the gross part? Is he in a public toilet or something? As far as this video shows (IDK if there is a longer version...) the guy just might be using his own WC which could have just been cleaned (it looks clean to me, not like a travel worn toll plaza rush hour wc at all).
All in all, it´s a good way to generate an impression on viewer, combining the phone water-resistance awe with the "gross" feeling most viewers get... IMO much better viral resul...
As long as it comes trimmed in some stylish form...say a little triangle, I can take it... please avoid the thick and bushy "al natural" look :P
Oh... I just can´t help but ask myself... what kind of game will be using this groundbreaking development?... Bump Hero? Grand Sex in an Auto?
I say look closely at your next-gen characters heads... that might not be normal hair as you thought... creepy devs...
High School Musical 3 willdeffinitely be a HUGE hit.
You see, in this third installment, this formerly lackluster franchise decided to go FPS. Now you have the chance to embody a mass murder gone gun crazy against a riot of post teenager brainwashed star-wannabes. That´s the ace under the sleeve for this one.
Ohh and there is this truly controversial "rape move" you will be able to perform on the hot chicks.
It is quite remarkable how most of 360 articles, specially those regarding gears 2 get instantly hate comments. And all positive comments from enthusiat 360 owners get tons of disagrees...

No doubt Killzone 2 will sell a LOT. I don´t know how much compared to the other titles in the list... but It will sell it´s good millions and it will recover the investment plus a nice revenue.
Bare in mind the succes rate for AAA gaming titles is VERY high.

I must say I really like the art direction. It resembles Wow a bit, though not completely, it still sticks to the original Diablo atmosphere and general feeling... Bare in mind that playing Diablo alwyas felt like WoW instances... that´s pretty much it... Diablo is the battle part of Wow simplyfied and in a 3rd person Isometric all in all.

On one side, the idea of making the end game content is tempting, and it would bring the top tier armor and weapons closer to the masses. Making this content accesible to more gamers.
On the other hand, the article speaks some truth. It really has certain appeal that only a few devout or long time casual runners get that, it speaks of certain game depth, in which you need a level of commitment to access that top of the hill.

Wow, that is close to a superpower. Actually, the brain reasigns the resources meant for eyesight to enhance the other senses in order to compensate for the loss, hence, he can hear far better than the average human being. Should his eyes be restored his hearing would go back to normal values.
The good part: He´ll never be complaining about framerate drops or jaggies :P
