I do have to say I am completely pro gun prohibition.
I agree with Meus in his point that gun erradication is the only true way to eliminate gun related crimes. And yes it is true that it is a long term plan to erradicate guns, specially from a society so linked to them.

don´t get me wrong I played COD4 and it is a really GREAT game... just a matter of taste... and I find Halo3 multiplayer a lot more fun
If I were Microsoft (yes me, a person, impersonating tha whole of the company...) I would be hard pressed to adress hardware issues for all those systems they hope to sell with this so expected "system-seller"... I know people still buy a 360 no matter RROD ( I did ) but that tolerance is reaching it´s peak... and has already impacted on the system sales...
As for the "news" itself... It´s just another marketing move... The fact that MS is making marke...

I live in Argentina, where PS2 was a HUGE succes in terms of hardware sales, but as far as it goes for original games... The software market for PS2 here is 95% piracy owned...
In a country where 1 dollar costs 3.18 pesos and where origibal games retail for arroun 200 pesos there aren´t many options for the masses...

I think the game really captures the capcom style. I hear lots of people complaining about the bulkyness of the characters... SFII characters where bulky!... Capcom´s always had that visual trend.

I just read a news that stated universal is sticking to HD DVD format... Having a major movie company attached to a format doesn´t sound like it being dead...

If I ever want to play movies I use my dvd/hddvd/br player (whatever i get at the time... never used a console for movie playback... I rather preserve it for games (u know, don´t wanna spoil the lens too much, happened with a PS2...)

I really love the way this is shaping up. A really good matching between the old 2d style and 3D graphics. Faces could use some work, but as for what can be seen there is some nice facial expression at work (yet ryu seems to been chocking by the way his eyes are always wide opened :P)

Well if it is supported by China and India as I have read in some comments then it should be not Underestimated. Bare in mind both countries populations combined make for almost half of the world. Although India is a very poor country in general, China is much richer and is currently developing it´s markets at a very high rate. So watch out for whatever they back up. Though chances are (if they do back this format) that it will become their universal standard and wont develop much outsid...
