COD needs to step it up if they want to compete with BF3.

I'll reserve my judgment for when I see some footage but I already have a few COD games and pre-ordered BF3 so I have no real reason to get this...at all.
This game is going to change little boys into Ron Swanson-like men.
I still doubt we'll see an Episode 3 at all. Whats the point of continuing on with HL:Episode 3 if they can move on to bigger and better tech for HL3?

Obsidian is the culprit IMO....
Bethesda at least repaired Fallout 3. Obsidian didn't make a quality game. There are more bugs than they can handle obviously. Either it was rushed or just didn't receive enough attention.
Haven't really been interested in any collectors editions...Some editions are overpriced IMO. I have a hard enough time justifying a $60 game purchase...

I wasn't sure if I was going to buy it but given the fact that I'd spend the majority of the time in multiplayer which sounds like a bug infested mess ...I'll hold off until they patch it up...if ever.

The idea of paying to play on top of already owning the game just screams to me insecurity. You mind as well say "we don't think our game will sell enough so we'll make up our losses with an online pass."
A used game turns into a used game that you still have to pay for once you've purchased it. I think this is becoming a bigger issue and will collide with those who depend on the used game market. Its almost like...
I don't think gamers could ever have a world "too big" to explore. That leaves plenty of room for a replay or two, exploration, new experiences, etc...
As long as the world is thoroughly thought through, used to the fullest extent and instituted in a way originally imagined, it shouldn't be an issue.

MGS2 is an epic game. It could work that same way. I think it will be fine assuming that the story is like MGS and its not just a hack and slash ninja game.
I'm tired of hearing how bad these game developers think they have it....What about the people that buy games new? $60 a game X millions of players? And you still want more? They ought to be happy people are buying their games used at all. Do you want some profit or none?

Wow...I read some reviews on it late last night and saw that it was a let-down and short. New Vegas DLC is not off to a good start compared to Fallout 3's DLC which for the most part was awesome.
Here's to hoping the next DLC is worthy of a buy.

Its rated E....you can't get any more harmless than that. The ESRB decided the fate of the rating and if there are any issues with that- they ought to be taken up with the ESRB, not VALVE.
