Fool the PS3 is getting proper 3D in the form of 'Real 3D' tech in the summer. HDMI 1.4 is required for that, PS3 supports 1.4 via firmware upgrade. Crapboxes HDMI 1.2 doesn't support firmware upgrades. 1.2, it doesn't have the bandwidth to support 3D like the PS3 will use.

@Jason 360 - Microsoft still sided with Toshiba(the losing side in the format war), hence why Toshiba ended up making the HD DVD drive for 360. Also microsoft will of ended up losing millions in doing so.
