My launch 60 gigger(upgraded to 640Gb)has been horizontal from day one. Not had one single problem, and it's coming upto 3 years old(March).

When I said millions that could be on the low side. Sales for the ME trilogy could easy run too well over a million copies each. I seriously doubt EA would turn down PS3 sales that run into millions.
While alot of PS3 owners have high spec PC gaming rigs(which I'm one), some don't so there is a PS3 market waiting to be tapped.

You really think EA would turn down the chance of millions of PS3 sales, by not doing a easy port of the whole trilogy. Once the Microsoft deal runs it's course, they will be free to do what they wish. They would be mad not too, as some point in the future.

It's a patent for encrpytion/decryption system that IBM have been using from day one in Cell.
The patent is filled by IBM not Sony.
I believe Sony just quoted the said patent cos, they don't seem worried about the so call hack. And with good reason if you ask me, Geohot's so called hack does diddley squat. There are protective measures in place, built into Cell to combat any such attacks.
