MSX/MSX2 was'nt just Sony & phillips. There was loads of makers on board like:
Panasonic
Hitachi
Yamaha
Toshiba
Sharp
GoldStar
Sanyo
Mitsubishi
Toshiba
Canon
Casio
JVC
Even Microsoft was on board providing the MSX BASIC programming language..
RSX is a very powerfull chip. When Slim PS3 does come, all Sony will have done is shrink the chipset and other componnets.
So why not 3 hours.
Remember pippin, Epic fail.
@zoydwheeler - Apples first attempt at a console. Worse than Microsoft first attempt at a console.
Infamous is miles better. But what the heck PS3 gets both so why do I care.
MS should fix RROD, disc scratching and read errors first.
Digital downloads are a long way off at changing the norm. People like too own physical media be it Music CD's, DVD's or Blu-ray.
Media is here to stay.
Xbots have been paying to play online for years.
Nothing but vapourware.
Microsoft had to fake it at E3.
PS3 Slim any day/week/month.
I would'nt touch the 360 with a barge pole, don't need the hassle of RROD.
More dev time = more polish, less bugs.
They are totally gimping 'Alan wait' on the 360.
So not to embarrass the inferior visuals of the 360, Microsoft has canned the superior PC version.
Your just a bunch of cheapskates, get a job and save up.
American cars suck as do American consoles. lol
360 is damn expensive compared to what PS3 offers out of the box.
Once burnt never forgot. Vista f#cked up all Microsoft future OS plans.
Free upgrades all round is whats needed.
Not a great game at all. Infamous is miles better.
No need when ya have PS3 & PC. Get the best of both worlds, and PC gets all the 360 exclusive(just it does them better).
Give me 360 with my cornflakes and I may consider it.
When it keeps a game fresh and make them money to boot. Seriously dumb article.
Just like saying why does'nt Microsoft stop making 360 as it RROD all the time. As long as consumers buy crapbox they won't fix it as it's making them money.
Just in the long run it's Microsoft's rep that is and will suffer.
It's called progresssion. The previous playstation models had there own cheaper/smaller,versions, coupled with a price drop. So why not PS3? PS3 production costs has droped over 50% since launch. So the only way forward to reduce production costs further is through a chip process shrink to 45nm, that way more chips can be produced per waffer making PS3 cheaper to produce. That way Sony profits sooner rather than later. Then later down the line Sony then passes on some of the savings to the co...
