This is Sony not Microsoft. Componnet reductions is usually the ammout of componnets need to do a certain job. PS3 has gone thru many motherboard revisions, and all are reliable. Same can't be said for 360.
360 still has RROD after how many 360 revisions to (so call) fix it.
