There is more chance to get PS2 owners to buy PS3's if there collection's of the favourite games still worked on PS3.

Learning how to program PS3 would have made them better at multi core programming. Not even trying proves how bad they are.
Future CPU/GPU's will have more than measly 3 cores/6 threads.
Which ever way you look at it PS3 offers more value than 360 and always will regardless of how close the price point gets.
Just cos of the extra hardware as standard: Blu-ray, Wi-fi, free internet, standard hard drive in every SKU, uses cheap upgrdeable hard drives.
Overall the PS3 the better package in the long run.
MotionPlus sucks.

So true, makes ya wonder why devs support the 360/Wii so much knowing there wares will be pirated so often. It's like putting your cash down the drain.
PS3 on the other hand has'nt been pirated yet. It's the safe bet, yet devs can't see it just yet.

Cuts are good for the economy, as we get to buy stuff for less. And money saved likely goes on other items we could'nt afford. Getting people to spend will end up getting the world out of the ression.
360 cost less for a reason. It's built like sh#t, and has less hardware as standard.

No Blu-ray Drive = Check
No recharge cables = check
No Hard Drives(in some models) = Check
